So, currently.

HOW ON EARTH WAS SHE STUCK HERE, BABYSITTING A 26-YEAR-OLD GUY?!

Anyway, Silver Wolf was writing and typing reports on her computer and by hand while Ranpo was just munching candies on and on. Whenever it was running out, she just needed to send either Friend or Whitecollar on a mission to buy some more (resulting in screams and faints cause the shopkeepers who thought that they were ghosts).

Ahem, this deserved an explanation, which can be explained in one word, 'complexion'.

A few hours ago...

Silver Wolf found herself reluctantly paired with Dazai for an undercover investigation. Despite her initial reluctance, she couldn't deny the thrill of the chase as they ventured into the heart of Yokohama's bustling streets, their senses on high alert as they searched for clues.

Dazai, ever the master of plans and masterplans (is that even a word?), had insisted on adopting the personas of a wealthy couple, much to Silver Wolf's dismay. As they strolled through the crowded marketplace, Dazai regaled her with tales of their fictional romance, his charm and charisma drawing the attention of passersby.

As for her, being in the spotlight was nothing she would enjoy. In fact, alophough Silver Wolf dressed like a metal verse gamer, her aura hidden her well from the eyes of the public. But now, having Dazai nearby, always nudging and saying jokes and things like that, people started noticing her, and that... was driving her kinda mad.

She sighed for the n times, praying that this mission ended as swift as the better as Dazai kept nudging her and shouted out with glee and playfulness at almost everything.

"Hey Silver, look! There are doves on the tree over there!"

"Hey Silver! Can we go in and buy some snacks? Pretty please?~"

"Hey Silver-"

"Shut up."

She glared at him before letting out a frustrated huff and walked away, and not before getting herself into trouble once again, of course.

Apparently, Dazai's appearance caught some girls' attention who was sitting at a cafe, and he, of course, wouldn't let an opportunity like this slide, if it meant to caught her attention once again.

Getting over there, he began his flirting... like always.

"My lady! You're as beautiful and elegant as a rose petal. Would you care to join me on a double suicide-"

Before he could finish his sentence, she punched him on his head and bowed in apology,

"Apologies for my friend here," Silver Wolf said, her voice emotionless and carried a bit of irritation in it, "His head is not...so normal. Pardon me, you should carry on enjoying your cup of tea and coffee."

Saying that, she dragged him away from the girls, who were now flabbergasted and still in shock.

After Silver Wolf dragged Dazai away from the flabbergasted girls, she made a beeline for the nearest secluded alley, far from prying eyes and potential witnesses to their ongoing debacle. With a firm grip on Dazai's arm, she propelled him forward, her steps brisk and purposeful.

Dazai, for his part, seemed unfazed by the turn of events, his usual smirk firmly in place despite the throbbing pain in his head from Silver Wolf's well-aimed punch. He offered her a playful wink as they navigated through the labyrinthine streets of Yokohama, his carefree demeanor a stark contrast to Silver Wolf's simmering frustration.

"You're such a buzzkill, Silver," Dazai remarked with a chuckle, earning him a pointed glare from his partner.

"Buzzkill? You're lucky I didn't knock you out cold back there," Silver Wolf retorted, her tone laced with thinly veiled annoyance.

Despite her outward display of irritation, however, there was a hint of fondness in her voice, a begrudging acknowledgment of the bond that had formed between them over the course of their partnership.

Dazai simply grinned in response, seemingly unfazed by Silver Wolf's threat. He knew all too well that beneath her stoic exterior lay a fierce loyalty and unwavering dedication to their mission, qualities that he both admired and respected.

As they reached the relative safety of their headquarters, Silver Wolf released her grip on Dazai's arm, taking a moment to collect herself before addressing him once more.

"We need to talk," she stated firmly, her gaze piercing as she locked eyes with her partner.

Dazai's expression sobered slightly at her words, the playful façade fading to reveal a hint of curiosity mingled with genuine concern.

"Alright, shoot," he replied, his tone surprisingly earnest given their usual banter.

"I know that you did that to annoy me, and yeah, it worked. But that didn't mean I'll let you go off this time." Cracking her knuckles, she titled her head before struck at him.

But the brunette simply grinned and dodged,

"Ah ah~ no need for violence, my dear wolf~"

"YOU SHOULD REALLY JUST DIE FROM YOUR SUICIDE ATTEMPTS YOU KNOW?!"

Silver Wolf's outburst echoed through the dimly lit alley, her frustration reaching its boiling point as Dazai danced effortlessly out of harm's way. Despite her best efforts to maintain her composure, the relentless teasing and antics of her partner had finally pushed her over the edge.

Dazai's grin only widened at her exasperated response, his eyes alight with mischief as he sidestepped another attempted strike.

"Now, now, Silver, violence isn't the answer," he chided lightly, though there was a glint of amusement in his gaze.

But Silver Wolf was having none of it. With a determined glint in her eyes, she lunged forward once more, her movements swift and calculated as she aimed a series of well-aimed punches and kicks at her elusive target.

Dazai, ever the slippery one, managed to evade her attacks with ease, his agility, and reflexes a testament to his years of training and experience.

Eventually, the adrenaline began to fade, leaving Silver Wolf and Dazai breathless but oddly invigorated. With a final playful jab, Silver Wolf called an end to their impromptu sparring match, her features softening as she regarded her partner with a newfound sense of camaraderie.

"Alright, Dazai, truce for now," she conceded, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Dazai returned her smile with a grin of his own, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he offered her a mock salute.

"Truce it is, Silver. Until the next time," he replied, his tone teasing but genuine.

Now...

So when they got back, Kunikida gave them a new mission, or rather, a task. Is just to...look after Ranpo as the other members were all on their own missions. So that's what she's stuck with now, with literally two big CHILD with her being the only person that ACTED and BE like a grown-up.

Sigh.

This is impossible...

Such complexion is draining me...
