   Attacked.

She wondered, 'what in the name of hacking' is going on. The Agency broke into Port Mafia to kill Mori but was unccessful. Same for the Port Mafia, Silver Wolf shook her head and sighed heavily. Tanizaki was taken hostage but escaped, Ranpo trapped Chuuya and him in one of Poe's novels, which had 1 murderer and 100 people (pretty sure Chuuya would just punched everyone).

She managed to drag Dazai and saved his life, then left. Walking with and without a destination on the streets, she stopped at every sight of cats. It's been ages since she met him, but she knew he wouldn't forget her, not yet.

Not when she was still here.

So long, the one she used to be, to known.

Maybe they had died inside of her.

Silver Wolf shook her head hard, letting go of those thoughts as she halted in her tracks. A calico cat sat on a brick wall. She approached the cat without hesitation, a look of unamused shown clearly on her face.

"Found you, took me long enough."

As Silver Wolf approached the calico cat, her expression softened slightly, a hint of nostalgia flickering in her eyes. Despite her outward facade of indifference, there was a sense of familiarity and warmth in her demeanor as she reached out to the feline.

The cat regarded her with a nonchalant air, its gaze unwavering as it met Silver Wolf's eyes with a curious tilt of its head. There was a silent understanding between them, a connection forged through years of shared experiences and memories.

"Hey there, old friend," Silver Wolf murmured softly, her voice tinged with a mixture of fondness and melancholy. "Long time no see."

"Hope you have in store something fun for me today."

Gazing at the now ruined mansion, she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, scoffing,

"He's an old man now. You should let him rest."

Fukuzawa and Mori looked up, surprised as they saw her, Katai, and Natsume in his human for.

Then Natsume lectured his students while she yawned boringly.

"Dazai-san! Let me go!"

"Nope, if I let you go, you two will start fighting again!"

She rolled her eyes and face palmed, Silver Wolf was currently sitting in the back of a van, watching Dazai holding Atsushi and Akutagawa by their collars.

"But Dazai-san-"

"Adadadadada- you'll open up that wound on my stomach again!" Dazai exclaimed in a dramatic tone of voice.

"Shut up, you know it won't." She rolled her eyes and protested.

Dazai whined and sighed,

"You wounded me Wolf-chan~"

Atsushi then spoke up,

"But Dazai-san, Akutagwa won't work with me. He'll kill me!"

"Oh, don't worry," chirped the brunette with a smirk, "He'll work with you alright, right Akutagawa?"

"I'll do whatever Dazai-san told me to." Answered Akutagawa in a monotone kind of voice, which made her burst out laughing.

"Uhm, you're Akutagawa, right?" Atsushi asked in a nervous voice.

"Yes."

"You'll work with me, right?"

"Yes."

"What did you have for dinner last night?"

"Yes."

Silver Wolf spoke up, cutting off suddenly. It's clear that she's trying not to laugh,

"Are you willing to wear a pink princess dress, with cat ears and tail, record a video in which you meowed and said I'm a princess to me?"

"Yes."

She grinned and held up a recorder, winking,

"Remember that~"

The corner of Dazai's mouth twitched, a hint of a suppressed smile playing on his lips. "Sounds like a fascinating proposition, Wolf-chan. Might I suggest adding a tutu for the full effect?"

Silver Wolf's playful facade faltered for a moment, a faint blush (not noticeable) creeping up her cheeks. "Shut up, mackerel! That's blackmail material."

Atsushi, completely lost in the conversation, blinked at them both. "Uh, what's going on?"

Akutagawa, ever the stoic, remained silent, though a flicker of curiosity sparked in his usually emotionless eyes.

She patted Atsushi's back. They've arrived outside of Fyodor's hideout,

"I'll leave you to it."

Dazai titled his head, eyeing her curiously,

"WHERE are you going?"

A sly grin stretched across Silver Wolf's face. "Don't worry, bandaged mackerel. I have another part to play. A little distraction, shall we say?"

And with that, she dashed away, leaving them there. For as she knew, Fyodor was more than that.

She watched intently as Ango and his men arrested Fyodor away before turning to Dazai, who was sitting there, grinning.

"So, you've figured it out." She placed her hands on her hips and jerked her head, "Honestly, I didn't expect you'll team up with Francis like that."

A flicker of surprise crossed Dazai's playful facade. "Francis? You knew about the plan?" He tilted his head, his dark eyes gleaming with intrigue.

Silver Wolf shrugged, a hint of a smirk playing on her lips. "Let's just say, I have my ways. Fyodor's a master manipulator, always pulling strings from the shadows. But even the best puppeteer needs a stage, and this time, I helped dismantle it."

She glanced at the departing figure of Ango, a thoughtful expression settling on her features. "Though, I have to admit, the Agency working with the Guild – that was a surprise even I didn't see coming."

Dazai chuckled, a low rumble that sent a shiver down her spine. "Desperate times call for desperate measures, Wolf-chan. Besides, it adds a layer of chaos to the whole situation, wouldn't you agree?"

Silver Wolf snorted. "Chaos? You call this chaos? This is just the beginning, Dazai-san. Fyodor may be gone, but the real mastermind is still out there." Her voice hardened, a glint of steel flashing in her eyes. "And whoever it is, they're playing a much bigger game."

Dazai's amusement faded, replaced by a flicker of seriousness. "Who are you thinking of?"

"No clue, just a feeling." She shrugged her shoulder and snorted. "Anyhow, recommend you be careful from now on."

"I'll leave you two to your fancy tea time then." She nodded at Francis and Dazai before turning sharply and walked away.

A frown creased Dazai's brow as he watched Silver Wolf disappear into the crowd. "A feeling, huh?" he muttered, his voice laced with a hint of suspicion.  Francis, who had remained silent throughout their exchange, finally spoke.

"An intriguing woman, wouldn't you agree, Dazai-san?  Someone with secrets and a past shrouded in mystery."

Dazai chuckled, a sharp, almost unsettling sound. "Intriguing indeed. But mysteries are meant to be unraveled, wouldn't you say, Francis?"

Francis smirked, his eyes glinting with a cold light. "Indeed. Though perhaps it would be best to focus on the present threat before delving too deeply into the shadows of the past."

Dazai shook his head, a small grin plastered on his face.

"Oh, I have a feeling that she'll do something big next time."
