Wangji brought Weiying to the Healer's Pavilion and gently placed him on the bed. The healers exchanged glances as he did so, and once he was finished, the head healer stepped forward, bowing respectfully.

"Second Master Lan, how may I assist you?" the healer inquired.

"I found him unconscious," Wangji replied, stepping back to give the healer space. "I suspect this has happened multiple times in the past. I’m concerned it might indicate a serious health issue. Please check him."

The healer approached Weiying, taking his hand to check his pulse while Weiying remained silent, observing every action.

"I assure you, there's significant weight loss," Wangji added.

"Very well, we will check his weight and monitor for anything serious. Please wait outside for a moment," the healer instructed.

“Please open your outer robes; I need to examine your stomach,” the healer said to Weiying.

Weiying complied, and the healer pressed on his abdomen. “No gastric issues, I hope?”

“Sometimes it hurts and burns,” Weiying admitted.

“That’s likely due to lack of proper food and dehydration. I assume there are no other problems in your body. You should meditate more; it will help reduce stress and anxiety.”

“I sometimes feel heart palpitations, body aches, dizziness, and ear pulsation,” Weiying confessed.

“Since when?” the healer asked.

“It used to happen occasionally, but now it’s every 2-3 days,” Weiying replied.

“I see. I will recommend some medicine for this. Do you also have constant nightmares?” The healer inquired.

Weiying nodded.

The healer went to prepare some herbs and medicine for him. “Here, take this twice a day after meals,” he said, handing Weiying a pouch filled with herbs.

Weiying accepted it with downcast eyes, feeling hollow inside. The healer noticed but chose to ignore it as he stepped outside to inform Wangji about Weiying's condition.

**Inside Pavilion: Weiying's POV**

Two times after food? I don’t even have enough for one meal; how am I supposed to eat twice? Looking at the medicine pouch filled with herbs meant to be mixed with tea or hot water, I hesitated before deciding to leave them on the bed for someone else to use. I didn’t want to waste them by taking them with me.

Standing up from the bed was a struggle, but I managed to walk outside and thank the healer. Wangji stood waiting for me; I smiled weakly at him as he took me back to my prison—this time, I walked on my own.

“Thank you,” I said softly as he prepared to leave. He reminded me that if I needed anything or wanted to confess something, I should send him a butterfly message. I nodded in response; there was nothing I wanted to confess or say right now—not even to my husband.

As he walked away, my heart felt heavy with unspoken words and emotions that seemed too burdensome to share.
