'You stupid animal, you ruined everything'

This is the eighth time Taehyung was cursing his wolf in sixty seconds. If it wasn't for his alpha, he would have been with Jimin now. If it wasn't for his ignorant ass believing he could read the omega like the back of his hand, he would never have been the reason for Jimin's tears.

Taehyung was certain he could tell Jimin was in pre-heat. His wolf was certain the Omega was going to enter his heat with the sudden shift in the cherry blossoms. Then where did it go wrong?

It's been nine days since he last talked to Jimin. Nine days since he had last held Jimin in his arms.

Usually, Jimin's heat starts on the third or fourth day after he first sniffed the changes in the blossom. But, it's been more than six days and Jimin still hasn't started his heat. Taehyung knows this because he is looking at the omega being chatty with Seokjin and, surprisingly, the prick he hates, Joon woo.

Though he was the one to begin the whole 'avoiding' ordeal, he hasn't really completely avoided the omega. He acted like he suddenly didn't care about Jimin, but in reality the Omega was unaware of him lurking around. For this, he had to repress his scent so that Jimin wouldn't be able to tell he was near.

He thought he could tell Jimin the truth after Jimin broke out of his heat, that he was avoiding him for the fear of losing control over his wolf. But he has to be the worst human and, moreover, the absolute worst alpha for abandoning his omega.

Maybe his wolf is broken. That's the reason why his alpha thought the omega was going into his heat because the jimin he was watching from afar was clearly not having the scent of pre-heat on him. The omega's scent is even like how jimin smells most of the time, no traces of the added sweetness that drives taehyung wild in the days of jimin's preheat or the days that come after his heat.

So he really mistook the changes in Jimin's scent. So he really pushed the omega because he couldn't keep his horny ass in check. Now is a better time to dig a hole and bury him alive.

How can you be this foolish?

Jimin's giggles are delightful, especially since Taehyung hadn't been this close to Jimin in the past nine days. The omega stands leaning on Seokjin, the older alpha, likely, cackling from his own jokes. Jimin's cheeks were rosy pink, his small fingers curled to hide the smile on his lips. It's true Taehyung's eyes have hearts in them with his omega smiling widely with his crooked teeth peeking in between his full lips.

The lower portion of Taehyung's face is hidden behind the stack of hay in the wooden cart he is using as a sorry excuse to stay unseen from the trio chatting a few distances away from him. Only his eyes were peeking out, so he could make out what the two alphas and his omega were talking about. Taehyung's hands are picking apart the grass from the bundle every time he is endeared by Jimin's laughs or every SINGLE time Joon woo chances a glance at his omega.

Taehyung even thought of hauling a bundle at woo, who was making jimin laugh.

'Oh for fucks sake, hyung, stop doing that'

Jungkook nearly pulls his hair out from the frustration crawling up his spine. His hyung has been there for about half an hour mumbling curses (at the alphas) and oogling at the omega standing between the two alphas in front of his shop. Taehyung and him are at the other side, him busy with loading stacks of goods into a cart and his hyung, being unproductive as usual.

Taehyung gets like this whenever Jimin is included or is anywhere near him. He gets that his hyung is in love with jimin but he didn't expect the alpha to be this tedious.
