Talk about the worst day of his life.

Not only did Taehyung have to chase the love of his life to apologize, he had to restrain his wolf from pouncing on Jimin. The second one was due to a sudden turn in events. Who would have guessed he would have to endure the very reason he started avoiding Jimin?

Taehyung can't believe Jimin went into heat just when he held him. Talk about the timing. But why then? Why did Jimin's heat start then?

Taehyung wasn't able to smell the usual sweetness that most likely coats Jimin's cherry blossoms prior to his heat. The best part is that he didn't notice the change even when he had been this close to Jimin. Before he began courting Jimin, he could tell the change in the omega's scent from a mile away. So, why did it take them hugging for the omega to start his cycle?

Was he the reason Jimin suddenly started his heat? Was he the trigger? If so, it means he also has an effect on his beloved. If Taehyung wasn't carrying a clingy Omega in his arms, he would have puffed his chest out in pride.

It was hard (correction: very hard) to keep his cool and not fall prey to his wolf, who was hell bent on tempting him. Who would not? Who could resist someone as pretty as Jimin? Moreover, if the said person is an omega in heat and the one he loves the most. It's a relief, he didn't cum just from smelling the sweet blossoms.

He had to pick Jimin up bridal style after he felt the omega's legs were trembling. Jimin leaned heavily on his body, hiding his face in his chest, and Taehyung knew it was his cue to get Jimin to the safety of his house as soon as possible. He had no other option but to carry Jimin. The omega tucked his nose right on top of his scent gland, and Taehyung is not sure what to do. He doesn't know what he wants to do first - press the omega to the nearest surface or sneer at anyone who dares to look at Jimin.

He's been glaring at every person who looked their way. It didn't help that Jimin was whimpering nonstop in his ears now that Omega has his face buried in his neck, and it will be a complete lie if he says he is losing a lot of energy by trying to keep himself in check. Jimin's scent is getting stronger by the minute, and his body is heating up at record speed. It took everything in Taehyung not to sprint to Jimin's house.
 
 

Taehyung exhaled a heavy sigh once they were in the safety of Jimin's home, kicking open the door of Jimin's bedroom to gently lay the omega on the bed spread. 
 
Jimin has his eyes closed, his small fingers tightly clutching the front of his shirt as he adjusts the omega's body on the comforter. He grabbed Jimin's legs to place them on his lap, slipping Jimin's shoes off his feet to rub the swell of his ankle. The skin of Jimin's feet was burning hot, and the omega made a confused noise at the back of his throat when he laid his legs on the bed.
 
 
''I'll be back with a glass of water, Jimin ah'', he pacifies the distressed omega, who was hesitating to let go of his dress. Jimin's eyelids fluttered open to gaze unsurely at him, so he had to kiss the side of Jimin's temple tenderly to coax the omega to release his shirt. 
 

 
The sight that greeted him when he returned to Jimin's room nearly made him trip on his feet. The water inside the cup sloshed, some landing on his toes as he steadied his footing, the wolf inside him buzzing giddily. 
 
On the floor of the room, he could make out a small lump amid the countless blankets pushed to the corner, fluffy pillows aligning the head of the makeshift bed. The lump on the bed shifted, and he got a peek of Jimin's blonde hair from the white cover drapped over the omega's form, Taehyung's wolf going haywire from the pink glow of Jimin's cheek, apparent even from a distance. 
 
 
Taehyung stared wide-eyed and jaw slacked at the omega, snoozing unbothered in the middle of a mountain of comfy blankets that looked (he bets, it felt too) soft like clouds.
 
 
He isn't sure how this teeny-tiny detail slipped his attention when he crashed at Jimin's room, in the Omega's bed, more times than he can count. He didn't ignore this by choice, but he had to do that in order to keep himself at bay.
