•Chapter 18•

Today, I was finally gonna see if I was gonna have a girl or boy.

"Finally gonna see if I'm gonna have a baby girl or baby boy." I tweeted. Some said I hope it's a boy. Some said I hope it's a girl. And I was just really excited to finally see my baby.

"You ready?" Luke says. I nod. Luke and Hayes were going with me. Luke has been acting weird but I brush it off. We were already at the hospital and my legs just kept shaking.

"Hey. Everything will be okay." Hayes says while he puts his hand on my thigh.

"Edith Summers." The doctor says. Luke grabs my hand and helps me up. We walk to the room.

"Hello. I'm Dr.Jay."

"Hello." We all said.

"Okay Ms.Summers, lay down." I lay down on the table. He lift my shirt up to where the baby bump started.

"This is gonna feel cold." He puts the thing on my stomach.

"Ooh." I said. We were all looking at the baby monitor. Hayes and Luke were standing on the right corner. There mouths were wide open. Luke took out his phone and took a picture of me looking at the screen.

"Well congratulations, Ms.Summers. You're having a boy!" I started to cry. Tears of joy.

"Whoever is the dad, must be really excited." He said pointing at Luke and Hayes. I giggle a little.

"We're all just friends. We're here to support Edith." Luke says.

"Oh I'm sorry. You hear that sound." He says. I nod. "It's the baby's heart beat." I listened to my first baby's heart beat. It sound so amazing and calming. He finally took off the cream that was on my stomach and took off the gloves he was wearing and went to another room.

"My baby is gonna be a boy." I smile wide with tears coming out of my eyes.

"Here you go." Dr.Jay says. He hands me an envelope.

"What's this?" I say while the boys help me off the table.

"Those are pictures of the baby monitor. You gotta have memories." He says. "See you in 5 months." He left the room. I checked out the hospital and I just couldn't wait until I tell everybody it's gonna be a boy. The guys and I stopped at Alby's to get food. And I went to 7Eleven cause I was craving pickles with Nutella. I just bought a big jar of pickles.

"Oh congrats." The cashier says.

"Oh I'm not pregnant." The look on her face was priceless. "I'm just kidding. Thank you." She laughs.

"Boy or girl?"

"Boy." I hand her the money.

"Congrats again."

"Thank you." I said while I walked out to the car. We all had our food. I just started laughing when I left the parking lot.

"Why you laughing?" Luke says.

"The cashier said oh congrats. And I told her oh I'm not pregnant. Oh my god, the look on her face was priceless." I start laugh harder. "But I told her the truth that I was pregnant. It was just funny." They just laugh with me.

"I just notice you finally get to call him LJ." Luke says.

"Oh true." I say while I parked in the driveway. Nash and Jake were in living room, playing video games. Skylynn and Elizabeth were in the kitchen making cookies.

"Ooh it smells good." I say while I walk to the kitchen.

"Edith!" Skylynn runs and hugs my leg.
