•Chapter 23•

-Three years later-

I'm finally 21 and LJ is finally 3. Luke and I broke up. We were five months together but we knew it would be better for us. I had trouble being in a relationship with him. He wanted to have fun. But I couldn't. He would want to go to parties with me but I couldn't cause I had to take care of LJ. After LJ turned 2, I decided to travel the world with LJ. I went to Brazil, UK, Spain, France, China, Philippines, Canada, Mexico, and last was United States. I traveled all 50 states with LJ. He truly loved it. I met a lot of fans. He did too. I finally told people who the dad was and they were all okay with it. Well some of them. Today, after being a year away from home. I decided to go back. I missed NC and everybody.

LJ was holding my hand while we walked through the airport. I had one backpack, one median suitcase for LJ, and one big for me. LJ ran.

"LJ, you know your not supposed to let go of my hand." I ran with the suitcases and it was Nash. I hugged him so tight. I haven't seen him since NYC like 3 months ago.

"Let's go." Nash said. Nash grabbed all the luggage and I picked up LJ. We got back home in like 20 minutes. Once we got home, LJ ran inside and sat on Hayes lap. Hayes is 18 and is extremely attractive.

"Hey buddy!" Hayes said and hugged LJ. Skylynn came running downstairs. Skylynn is finally 9. She runs and I pick her up and hug her tight.

"I miss you." She whispered in my ear.

"I miss you too."

LJ hugged Skylynn. We all sat down on the couch and talked about everything. I spent a year away from everyone. I seen some of the guys when I went California. I visited my family. Turns out my older brother, Adam is gay. I never knew but I respect him whether he loves girls or boys. #LOVEWINS. I sat in the backyard porch. Thinking about everything. Everyone changed just from being a year a away from home. I changed too actually. I died my hair ombré. And I got one tattoo on my wrist it's, ♡LJ♡. I wanted something simple. I started to cry. Everything was just so hard. Being a single mom. Having your baby daddy help you. Having the love of your life just not being with you. When I went traveling with LJ, I found a boy. He was something I needed. Until I caught him cheating. He said he wasn't ready to act like a father for LJ. His name doesn't matter. But just know he was an asshole. I started to cry more.

"Hey you okay?" I heard Hayes. He sat down next to me.

"Yeah I'm perfect." I said while looking down.

"I know your not. What's wrong?" I finally looked at him. The boy I fell in love with when I was 16. Wasn't there anymore. Older, mature, and just different. I just hug him. He hugs me back. I cry on his shoulder.

"Everything is just so different." I say in shoulder.

"Change is good." I look at him and I smile. "You were a year gone from home and I-" he stopped.

"You what?"

"I found a girl." A tear went down my cheek. "But she cheated on me with some Zach kid."

"What was her name?"

"Taylor."

"Wow."

"What?"

"When I was gone, I found a guy named Zach. We were like a two months together and he cheated on me with Taylor."

"My Taylor?" I nod. He shows me a picture of her.

"Yup that's her."

"Can't believe we were both cheated on and with the same person." I giggle.

"Edith?"

"Yeah Hayes." I had my head on his shoulder and we were both looking up at the sky.

"Me and you, together. We've been through a lot." I nod. "I miss you."

"I was gone for a year." I say with sarcasm.

"Not in that way. I mean with you laying beside me. Waking up to every morning. Seeing you smile and laugh because of me. Seeing me happy when I'm with you. I miss it when we hold hands. When we hug. I miss everything." I grab his hand.

"Moving probably made us closers." I say while he leans in. I lean in and kiss him. It was passionate, full with love and lust.

"Be mine again?" I look at him.

"Forever." I kiss him again.
