The laughs echoed, fading into curiosity. "So! Valentina finally convinced her husband to stay, right?"- Leon questioned, biting his lip, unconsciously.
"Well! Yeah! For a little while, she did! But Alford couldn't resist fighting and serving his people, also, other kings were seeking advantage of his leniency, taking over his land. So he had to step in war with one of the most powerful kingdoms, The Elixir's!"- mother stated, playing with her fingers.
"Thats a kingdom!?" I asked gently.
"Yeah! Vadronia's neighbour kingdom,kinda'!"- Hana said, stiffly.
I nodded, as mother spoke,- "Things were fine unless, valentina started realising, that things are going against her will, after years, when their first child was 4 yrs old, Alford decided to step in wars again!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3rd person's POV-
"You promised!"- a soft yet timid voice was heard, as a lady with long white hair, appeared, pacing after her husband, asking for explanations.
"This can't go like this, forever, Valentina!.. you need to understand! My duties towards my people aren't negligible."- said, Valentina's husband who was walking through the dimly lit palace, followed by Valentina.
"You can't ignore your family for that, Alford!"- she shrieked.
"Enough of that bullshit, Valentina!"- he shouted. "I've had enough!", he stopped and glared into her green, fearful eyes. "My duty isn't just about you or Asher! My kingdom is my family too, I just can't sit here, watching my people, lose their land, their shelter!!"- he said, his eyes, shining with anger.

"So!"- Valentina hesitated! "..you are ready to lose me and Asher, for the sake of your people!?"
"Yeah!"- he said, "not Asher, just you!...I am ready to lose you Miss Valentina Blidrug!!"- his voice was stiff, as he whispered in anger!
Valentina didn't say anything, she looked into Alford's eyes, her worst nightmare was becoming real, "what?"- she asked, as her eyes watered!
Alford didn't reply, he sighed deeply, finally escaping into his room, leaving Valentina alone, in the corridor. Valentina kneeled to the floor, crying, when she heard small footsteps approaching. She looked up, swiftly mopping them off her pale face. A toddler walked in, his ocean blue eyes, shined, as he moved towards his mother, and he wrapped his small hands around her, "mom!"- he whispered. His mother gripped her hands around him, affectionately, sobbing,yet smiling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Kinda' deserved it!"- leon murmured.
We all glared at him, with the most annoyed look, he rolled his eyes, as if he couldn't care less, mother, trying to ignore her son, continued, "he left to the war sight, leaving his whole family behind.!"
"He did?"- Ed questioned, mother bit her thin pink lips and nodded,
"...and Valentina was pregnant, with her second child, about whom S.E.F. don't know much, but that Asher's little sister is five years younger than him!"- she breathed.
"So, Alford wasn't there, when his daughter was born!"- Elena asked.
"Nope!..even after waiting for months, before their daughter was born, Alford didn't came, and as soon as she gave birth to the girl, Valentina went to her father's castle, which is now named as the Valentina's castle.", mother katherine told us.
"But what led to all this, those creatures out there, this devastated island, and destruction everywhere!?"- I questioned....
