What went wrong?

I took a deep breath and looked around the corner trying to ignore the pounding sensation in my heart and continually whispering to myself "It's okay Kath, show the avengers how strong you are.." I let out a breath of air "Come on... we can do this" I sighs softly building up the courage before I made my way towards a little window to exist, only to feel a sharp pain in the back of my head "Augh!" I let out a yell as my vision blurred, I tried to make out the voices and faces around me but I could barely manage to stay on my own two feet. Suddenly I felt the room grow dark, the last thing I could remember was laying on the floor unconscious.

I woke up hours later with a very sore head, I reached up to try and feel my head but to my dismay and horror, my hands had been tied down to a bed, alongside my feet. I forced my eyes open taking look around the room I was in "Hello? Is anyone there?' I call out in a raspy voice "Подопытный 223 готов к эвакуации." (Test subject 223 ready for extraction) My heart sank to my stomach "What?" I said having no idea what the man had just said. Another person speaks "Hello Agent X, We've been waiting for you ." I look up and see a two way mirror facing me so I anxiously ask "What are you going to do to me?" I didn't like to admit it but, I was genuinely terrified of what was about to happen. I bawled my fists tightly resisting the urge to scream or cry, thrash around aimlessly with no escape. I had to accept the fact, that I will not escape, and I will not be rescued. No one is coming to save me.

I layed there for what felt like hours before two of hydras scientists walk in the room, both holding some type of syringe full of a greyish blue liquid with little white dots scattered throughout it. The liquid was neon almost. "Turn the machine on"  Both scientists asked one of the men who had been tinkering with a few things in the back of the room he responded in a Thick russian accent "Yes ma'am.' I grimace in pain feeling a needle poke in my shoulder. A warm sensation spread throughout my body as something was then injected in me. I gasped out for air my head felt like it was about to explode. They turned the machine slowly towards the max setting which made  it absolutely excruciating. I screamed until my voice croaked like a frog, until my tears dryed and stopped falling and until the pain numbed slowly. That's when it happened. I felt wind? It cooly rushed on my skin making me shiver. But there was something else, it was a feeling you usually get when falling from somewhere high up. I opened my eyes seconds before crashing into the cold river hardly having any time to hold my breath.  I could feel my heart thump in my chest to the point where it's as almost painful "Where am I?" I thought to myself swimming up to the surface not knowing just how remarkable this actually was. I resurfaced but felt my eyes widen and my mouth open in shock. I was at a loss of words. I could feel shivers run down my spine "Oh my god -" I hauled myself out of the river and onto the river bank what I saw Infront of me made my knees buckle underneath me.

It was a forest? everything was Bioluminescent it was beautiful the plants, the trees, even the grass and some parts of the lake were glowing. I stood back up and walked towards the forest but hear some people talking. I  immediately run and hide behind one of the trees.

A group of people? walked through the forest, I had seen alot of alien species with the avengers but this was not one of those kind of things whatever they were, they were very tall, they were blue and had Bioluminescent freckles scattered all over their face. But they were wearing army clothes? Honestly Minus the army look to them they reminded me of the tube of liquid hydra had injected in me. I wanted to get a closer look, I needed one.  I slowly followed behind making sure to keep my distance as to avoid being caught. I mostly stayed near the tree line and in the shadows. Each step was like having to avoid stepping on an army of eggs, one wrong move and i could possibly risk being shot. I had to avoid countless leaves, twig's, and even a few bugs. The size of these bugs was kind of gruesome. But the way I say my heart dropped seeing the massive wolf looking thing hop Infront of the people, I mean it. I literally could've shit myself they all tensed aiming a big gun at it. Luckily the creature was not interested in them. I was glad to see it run off into the depths of the forest. But I almost got caught after I hadn't payed attention to where I had stepped accidentally stepping on a twig. It made a loud snap. I quickly ducked behind a fallen tree to avoid being caught. I  let them walk a good five six meters away before getting back up. My heart could've had a heart attack, I had finally caught up to them. They were holding a bunch of what looked like children by their hair forcing them to their knees. Shockingly I noticed there was another human there, but he was wearing just a Loincloth and had painted blue all-over his body.
