I thought it might be pretty boring without some fun music... So I chose my favourite from YouTube! I would like to apologise for not writing for such a long time. My dad got sepsis and was in the hospital and ICU for a few weeks. I also have started dating a girl for the first time! (I am Lesbian)

Overall I wanted to thank everyone who is reading these stories♥️♥️ it means so much to me! And it honestly keeps. Me motivated.

I followed Spiders lead as I myself didn't know my way around Pandora since I did only wake up her like 3 days ago.

"Come on! Keep up losers!" Spider yelled taunting them

Me and Spider were ahead in the ascent of the Hallelujah Mountains, I also did taunt them a bit.

"Jump!" Spider yelled out to me As the vine swung towards me, I leapt feeling for the first time happiness as I landed next to Spider. I chuckled at the thrill, this was far more fun then training for the avengers or fighting bad guys.

"Whew," I breathed out into the oxygen mask which was securely strapped to my face. I casted a glance below. "I've never been this high up without some guy trying to throw me off a building or something."

"First time for everything!" Spider scurried on.

I was relieved when we reached the top of the Mountains, and arrived at the swarming Ikran nest. "Wow they're beautiful.."

"Yes, they are, aren't they?" Spider Smirked as the calls and screeches of Ikrans could be heard.

"I've never seen such a beautiful place before... " I said this taking in the view Infront of me. It was magnificent, it made me almost happy hydra did whatever they did to me.

A grunt from behind us signaled the arrival of Quaritch but the others were still behind.

"Look at how beautiful!" I said this pointing out at the veiw as Quartich walked behind me and Spider

He barely even gave it a glance. "No time for sightseeing, keep moving."

Right. Why did I even try? This isn't something he would care about. None of them would. The only thing Quaritch and the Recoms care about right now is their current mission.

"Maybe I should just stick to Spider" I thought as I slowly followed behind Spider while Quaritch tried to assert his dominance by walking in front of us. After a while the rest of the squad caught up, finally. We all approached the nest. It was honestly just a blur of colours and screeching.

"Good luck..." I said with doubt he would even survive such vicious animals. seeing the razor sharp teeth definitely made me want to stay away from them.

Wainfleet readied a tranquilizer gun.

"I got this." Quaritch took the gun and aimed it at the nearest Ikran. I could tell this wasn't what your supposed to do once Spider burst out laughing.

Quaritch's face fell like a sad puppy being picked on. He turned to the boy. "What?"

Spider gave a little shrug. "Na'vi kids younger than me do this with their bare hands."

I looked up a bit surprised myself, Spider was only 15 like me how could someone even younger take on a beast like this??

Quaritch thought for a few moments his brow creasing. "Jake Sully do it the hard way?"

"What do you think?" Spider shot back.

Quaritch glanced over at me.

"Don't look at me." I held up my hands in surrender and shrugged. The problem was Quaritch probably thought I had lived on Pandora my entire life just like Spider had.

He sighed and considered once more before handing the gun back to Wainfleet who asked, "What're we doing Colonel?"

Colonel didn't reply, just strode forward, lifting his braid over his shoulder.

Spider chuckled. "Oh, this'll be good."

I smirked nodding "I'm Sure it will be.."

Quaritch approached the nearest Ikran, who rose up and stretched out her wings, hissing at his approach. He hissed back. If he had been human he probably would have been intimidated by her.

Then it began. In a flash, the choice was made, and within another second the fight for the bond began.

I gasped when Quaritch threw a punch and struck the Ikran right across the snout. Then, while the creature was still dazed, he threw himself onto her back, clinging to her neck.

I was surprised he managed to hold on amidst all the flailing, the Ikran trying her best to shake him off. If it were me I would've done the same.

"Ooh! that musta hurt!" I yell out trying to hold back laughter

"Move up, move up!" Wainfleet ordered the rest of the squad, though they seemed a mix of wanting to follow orders but also wanting to keep their distance from the flailing, roaring creature that was throwing their Colonel around.

Spider was laughed. "Did I mention you're supposed to tie the mouth shut first?"

I was about to laugh again when his Ikran suddenly and unexpectedly backed up to the side of the cliff "oh my god!" I gasped in shock

"Thanks a lot, kid! Whoa! WHOA!" With that, the Ikran swooped down off the cliffside, Quartichs , his scream fading away as they fell out of sight.

The squad was plunged into shocked silence.

Lyle lets out a sigh and after 5 minutes says

"Alright, let's move out!"

But to my shock and everyones we hear his voice again

"Yeah! That's right!" Quartich yelled rising above the clouds

Everyone jumped and spun around at the shout, followed closely by a squawk. There was Quaritch, riding on the back of the Ikran, queue attached, bond made.

"Yeah Colonel! Get some!" The squad erupted into cheers.

I really didn't want to admit it but I was slightly relieved he was okay, I would've felt awful if I laughed at him as he fell to his "death"

Quaritch guided his Ikran around to fly in a circle above them. "Who's next?"

Spider was smiling, laughing in disbelief.

We couldn't believe it: the fact that he was alive, and that he was riding an Ikran, who he had successfully bonded with. I didn't know much about bonds, just what Spider had told me last night at 3am.

I heaved a sigh. "This is going to be a very long day..."

The rest of the squad was, one by one, now attempting their own tsaheylus, which was both frightening and hilarious to watch. Spider was watching everything transpire with wonder.

I approached Quaritch who was off to the side with his new companion. It seemed that 'Cupcake' was her name for now.

"I never actually watched one of those happen before.. "

"You thought I was a gonner?" Quaritch asked with a smirk

"I did." I said this brushing my messy hair out my face.

"For a moment there, so did I." Quaritch pat cupcakes side before walking over to the team and saying

"Alright! We've got less than 40 minutes of daylight, let's set up camp."

I could hear groans of annoyance from the team but everyone followed Quaritch to a safe area to place their camp gear.
