I didn't want to get caught but I felt a need to rescue these poor kids "Shit what do I do?" I mumbled this to myself in a quiet tone as to avoid being noticed. But before my brain could fully react my legs were moving. It was like I was possessed but if I stopped now what would happen to these kids?

*****Quaritch point of view*****

My smirk faded after hearing a boy yell at me, "Don't touch her!!" he hissed and struggled around like some feral animal but something was different about him he had a familiarity to him so I walk towards him and ask "What's your name kid?" I could see him hesitate slightly when he says "Spider..." the boy paused for a few seconds as if contemplating if he should tell him "Socorro" my face paled but I tried hard to steel my expression. I knelt down motioning with my hands for the soldier to let go of him, "Miles?" I asked slightly hopeful it was him. He was the only thing I had, had left of Paz when she died. The boy "Spider" spoke and I couldn't believe what he had just said "No one calls me that." He was my son, "Well I'll be damned.. I figured they sent you back to earth.." I still wasn't used to how my ears and tail depicted my mood which made it even harder to hide the fact I was genuinely surprised. "You can't put babies in Cryo dipshit" Spider was my son, he has an attitude just like me I thought while motioning for the soldier to grab Spider again. I was about to get all the kids down to where general Ardmore would be landing the air craft but something caught my eye, "Lyle? You seeing this?" I asked my friend Lyle Weinfleet who was currently loading his Sniper rifle , Lyle looked up and let out a laugh "Boss! its another kid!" Lyle started to make his way to the forest. Quaritch smirked following him.

I had been watching them for awhile now trying had to decide if I should go or stay but right as I decoded to turn around and go back somewhere (No clue where) they noticed me, "just my luck" I thought as I started running. Some other avatars who were dressed in native clothing started firing arrows at them. I assumed they were the parents of the kids as they seemed happy to see them. It was a good distraction for me to get away, I ran the same direction as two of them who I learnt was Kiri Sully And Miles "Spider" Socorro. Kiri screamed after the boy as an explosion shook the tree causing Spider to fall. I did too honestly but only stumbled slightly. Dumbly I jumped down after him causing me to get badly injured, although not bad compared to the pain I had received at hydra. I dragged myself towards his body "Hey! wake up!" I said trying to drag his body away from the open, but I was too late. One of the soldiers had smacked the back of my head with his rifle. Again on my already sore head? I passed out seeing stars. It was Lyle who had done it. I woke up briefly as Miles got Lyle to carry me while he carried Spider but I passed out again.
