never be afraid

Chris's POV

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. The tour went by in a flash. And lately I have noticed that Xandra has been distant and almost depressed. I wanted to ask her about the razor and the little actions she does over the past few weeks. She will hardly let me touch her. She has nightmares very often and won't tell me anything about them. I am very worried about her, especially since finding the razor and that talk that me and her sister had.

I was trying to wait and give her time to come to me herself. But I guess from the way it looks that I will have to go to her myself. So, I get out of my bunk and go to the front lounge where her and the others are hanging out and I call out to Xandra.

"Xandra, can we talk please? "I said and from the look on her face was like a kid got caught doing something that they aren't supposed to do.

"Sure...Riley can you finish rolling this blunt please?" She asked before i took her by the hand and led her to the back room.

Once the door was shut, I decided not to beat around the bush. I was going to go all in at full force. So, I reach into my makeup case and pulled out the bloody razor. Once she saw it in my hands, her eyes widened and she began stuttering.

"W-w-w-where did you get that ?!"She asked. She was visibly shaking, and I so badly wanted to hold onto her and just take her pain away. Seeing her so sad and broken down, made me feel like absolute shit. But for the moment, I need to be strong for her and get to the bottom of this.

"I found it on the bathroom floor...Wanna explain this?" She then began to cry.

"Im so sorry Chris.."She began to say over and over again. I put the razor down and pulled her into my arms but I made her look me in the eyes.

"Baby talk to me ... You can tell me anything. Whats going on? Riley told me everything but I wanted to wait for you to feel comfortable enough to tell me on your own. But that time never came and you have changed a bit. What happened to that beautiful young girl that I fell in love with?"

"Shes broken Chris...I am scared he's going to come for me. The nightmares are becoming too much for me to bear so i turned to the razor...the pain is too much baby..I cant take this anymore. the fear is too much...just too much.."She sobbed into my chest and I just held her in my arms to comfort her. 

"Baby look at me ...."I said and made her look at me.

"You have so many people that love and care about you. You have us all worried, especially me and your sister. You should come to us to help you so you dont resort to harming yourself..never be afraid baby...I love you."

"You love me ??"

"Always and forever.."
