Over the past couple weeks. Chris has been very distant with me. He would lock himself in the guest room and wouldn't come out for hours. If I walk into a room, he will take one look at me and leave the room. I have been trying to figure out what's going on with him and It's driving me nuts.
I am currently on the balcony, sitting with a cup of coffee and looking at the ultrasound picture. I began to dive deep into my own thoughts. Chris seemed to be happy when we found out but at the same time he did freak out. What if he's having second thoughts now???
I began to cry. I know its also my hormones but I'm still freaking out myself about the whole ordeal too. Am i ready to be a mother?? Will Chris leave me to do this alone?? Is it going to be a boy or girl?? Will my career end once I become a mother?
Suddenly my thoughts are interrupted when there is a knock on the door. I carefully get up and head to it and once I opened it I was shocked to see my band mates standing there.
"Hey guys, what are you doing here?"I asked and they all smiled but Alexis is the first to speak.
"Get ready girl! We have a surprise for you!"She said and I was confused.
"Get ready for what? Where are we going?"I asked and she rolled her eyes.
"We cant tell you. Just hurry up and get ready."She said and I nodded in defeat.

Once I got ready, I followed them out to the car and got in without another word. As we all were on our way to wherever they were taking me .
"So why did I have to change out of my comfy clothes and come out today, Rehearsal isn't until tomorrow? "I asked but nobody answered me. We just rode in silence before we pulled up to a random building.
"Where the hell are we?"I asked and Alexis smiles.
"You'll see. Come on girl!"She said while taking me by the hand.
Jacqueline and Teresa followed behind us and Alexis was covering my eyes while guiding me to wherever she plans to take me. After we go up a flight of stairs, She finally reveals the setting to me and I am shocked.
"SURPRISE!!!! Happy Birthday Xandra!!!!"Everyone cheered. Everyone was here in a nicely decorated party room, but the only person I looked for was already heading for me. Chris pulled me into his arms and kissed my forehead.
"You remembered?"I asked him, looking deep into his eyes.
"Of course I did baby! I'm sorry i have been ignoring you like i have. I just been trying to plan everything and to be honest, I still am in shock about a baby. But i know i want to go on this rollercoaster ride with you. Till the very end."
A tear left my ear and Chris wipes away the tear gently and lets go of me. I look around and saw that Chris really outdid himself with the decorations for this party. It was halloween themed of course and there was even baby gifts already piled up on a large table. Everyone we love is there to celebrate with us. It just showed me that i really am not alone and that i have alot of people in my life that love and care about me. I am just happy that Chris is one of those people, and this baby is just a product of that love.
"I love you so much Chris ."I said and he smiles before kissing me.
"I love you too Xandra. I am so glad I ran into you that day at the concert."He said and i blushed under his gaze.
" I'm eternally yours."
"As I am Eternally yours ."
