Across the mountains, through the fields and into the alpine hills. There she lived, the child of the moon; Guqqie they called her. She had lived in her snowy cabin for a few months, as she tended to travel the world more than most. For Guqqie, her cabin was her place of rest when she wasn't traveling to help people on her quest to fulfill her mother's wishes for a peaceful world. Mother moon was a women you should never cross, she was just as ruthless as she was kind.
Don't mess with mother moon.
"Good morning Tom!" The women said as she walked through the snow and onto a brick pathway. "Good morning Guqqie, where are you off to in such a rush?", Tom stopped to talk to the woman. The boy knew Guqqie very well, she had been his friend for a little while, when she lived in the neighborhood. "Oh just going out to explore, has anything changed since I got back?". Guqqie longed to be back on the road, exploring what the world had to offer her. Her next visit was a prairie village...
Her mother had forbidden for her to go there, yet guqqie couldn't help but feel she needed to disobey her mom's wants. "Nothing's changed Ever Miss Guqqie, same old village! Just how we like it", Tom had said. The boy waved goodbye and continued on his way. Guqqie sighed, nothing ever did change in her home town.
The woman had decided to go out into the snow to try and find some of the native flowers that grew around this time. It wasn't common for flora to grow during the so called "normal winter", but you could find a few snowdrops under a fresh blanket of snow if you were lucky.Unfortunately, our winter girl had always had bad luck. Ever since she was little, guqqie got the short end of the stick in all sorts of ways. But today? Today she was going to find a snow drop for sure.
Guqqie searched carefully through the snow as to not crush any flora if she did find them. She searched for what might have been hours, until she scooped her last patch of snow. "I found it!", she yelled in excitement.
Her excitement was cut short when she saw a small muzzle peak out from the snow and snatch the flower from where it lay. "HEY! what on earth are you doing with my flower I found that fair and square!". A little fox had stolen the lovely flower Guqqie had found.
The two raced around the snowy forest, Guqqie could almost keep up with the animal, she had been used to running in the snow. Eventually, Guqqie had tired herself out and had fallen face first into a fresh pile of snow. "Fine! I give up you can have the flower". What she didn't expect next, was for the fox to creep up and sit beside her. Guqqie looked up from her face plant print in the snow, to face the small fox with the flower in its mouth. The fox placed the flower infront of Guqqie, nudging it closer to her face. "Oh? Umm... Thanks, little fox". Not wanting to stay out in the cold any longer, Guqqie grabbed the flower and started her journey back home.
The fox however, wasn't going to just sit and watch it's new friend go home. As Guqqie made her way back to the stone path, she noticed the creature was walking behind her, following her closely. "You wanna... Come with?", the fox nodded as if he knew what she was saying, like she could speak it's language and it could speak hers. "ok then, but it's a long walk so don't complain".

"Ok! It's right around this corner, hope you're hungry because I'm starving", the little fox nodded and ran close to Guqqie's house as soon as it had spotted it. "Slow down! It's not a race, I need to open the door!". Guqqie unlocked the door with her key and stepped inside, the little fox weaved inbetween her legs and squeezed through the small opening to get inside before the human, it jumped up onto the kitchen counter and sat down, waiting for the next plan guqqie was surely about to come up with. "Ok, so I think I have some leftovers in the fridge, some salid and rabbit stew if that sounds ok?", the little fox nodded eagerly, Rabbit was a common thing for a creature like it to hunt.
Guqqie heated up the stew and place a bowl on the counter beside the fox, she took her bowl and some salad and placed it on her dining table. "Do you want to eat over here with me?", the fox took its bowl in its mouth and carefully made its way to the dining table and up onto the chair where it sat like a little gentleman. The two are their supper in peace.
"Hey, I never got your gender or name? I keep calling you little fox, are you a boy?", the fox shock it's- I mean, her head. "Alright, a girl then, how about I call you snow drop? It's what you and I first met over", the fox nodded eagerly, she liked her name and her new friend. Guqqie and the fox spent the rest of the night enjoying eachother's company, watching some shows and eating yummy stew.
