About five minutes later, Basil and Sunny finished up their worksheet. The two of them just sit there in silence. Basil draws on the back of the paper while Sunny rests his head onto the table, wishing he was sleeping at the moment. Basil was drawing his friends, Aubrey, Sunny, Kel, Hero, and Mari. Normally he would just snap a picture, but he wasn't allowed to bring his camera to school. Drawing was not one of Basil's strong suits, if anything, Sunny was way better than him, but he wanted to practice so maybe he could be just as good as Sunny one of these days.

About another five minutes pasted and Ms Elle's timer went off. "Alright guys, we are gonna do a quick little thing where you read out three things you wrote that you want everyone else to hear about!" Ms Elle was seriously gonna make them do this? It was a Homeroom class, not kindergarten. Whatever, at least they didn't have to do book work or anything.

Basil's shot up out of his seat, he wanted to be the first to share his. Normally, he would encourage Sunny to go first but, he was just gonna let Sunny chill for today. "Oh, that was quick. Alright, share three things about you." Ms Elle said with a bright smile. "Alright so..my name is Basil, I love photography and nature, and my favorite subject is science!" Ms Elle was a bit surprised with this answer, "Photography, huh? Maybe you can bring in some pictures you have taken and show them to us." Basil didn't like the idea but he just nodded his head and sat back down.

"Alright, so who wants to go next?" Ms Elle was trying to get through the assignment as quick as possible. After a while, the whole class had went. The only students left are Kim, Aubrey, and of course..Sunny. Ms Elle gets up and walks over to Aubrey and Kim. "Why don't one of you share? I mean, you have been chatting the whole time, I'm sure you must have something to share." Kim just rolls her eyes at the teacher. "My name is Aubrey, I love the color pink, and my best friend is Mari..she is in high school now." Aubrey spoke up, her voice was kinda quiet but she was just loud enough for everyone to hear.

"My name is Kim, my favorite color is blue..and I love hanging out with my friends." Kim wasn't happy with this assignment, she felt she was 'too old' for this. "Alright, thank you." Ms Elle was a bit annoyed with Kim because of the whole eye rolling thing, but she just brushed it off. She walks over to Sunny and Basil. Sunny still had his head down, he was asleep. Ms Elle taps on his shoulder, trying to wake up the student. "Hey, hey, wake up." She spoke softly.

"Here, let me try." Basil spoke up. Ms Elle nods her head and gives Basil room to wake up the sleeping student. "hey, come on. I'll give you some of my watermelon at lunch if you get up." Basil says while gently shaking Sunny. Sunny perks his head up "hmm..?" He rubs his eyes a bit. "Let's try not to sleep in my class..okay, Sunny?" Ms Elle spoke up. Sunny's gaze fixed over to her, he didn't see her there at first. "I um..yes ma'am" He nods his head, she gave him a small smile.

Ms Elle was trying to wrap this up already, "Alright well, could you share with us three things that you wrote down on there?" Sunny nods and reads out some stuff, "My name is Sunny...I like hearing about Basil's day. And...my favorite color is white." He muttered, only Basil and Ms Elle could hear what he said. Basil found it sweet when Sunny said he liked to hear about his day. He had a faint blush on his face once again. Why did this keep happening to Basil?

Ms Elle lets out a sigh and then cleared her throat, "Thank you, Sunny...maybe try to be a bit louder so your classmates can hear, okay?" You could hear some students whispering and giggling about it. Kim said something to Aubrey, she just looked sorry for him. Kim could be a jerk sometimes, but Aubrey still loved hanging out with her for some strange reason.

This wasn't fair to Sunny, it's not his fault he was anti-social. He was just a bit shy, and that's okay. But, it was 7th grade...of course the kids were making fun of him for something stupid like being shy. "Everyone, hush up. There is no need for that." Ms Elle stated, her eyes darted onto Kim, the main problem. Basil let out a sigh, he put his hand on Sunny's shoulder, "Sorry about that..." he muttered. "It's fine..whatever." Sunny mutters, resting his head back onto the table. Of course it bothered him, but he didn't have the energy to say anything about it. The day just started and Sunny already wanted to go home.
