Teagan

Last night was bad.
Eli and I got beat very badly.
Mainly me though, since I messed up so bad.
Now I have to go to my training, to help coach. I really don't want to though.
My body is in so much pain and I just want to lay in bed and die, but I know I can't.
If I stay home, my parents would only beat me worse.
Kieran said he'd stay home and cover for me, which was nice of him.
After getting dressed and covering up the new bruises formed on my face with makeup, I duct taped my crutches to my bike and set off.
Soon enough I made it to the stadium, shocked when I saw the three USWNT girls from last night, as well as two others; Kelley O'Hara and Mal Swanson.
The five came up to me as soon as I walked in.
"Hey Teags!" Christen shouted, already using my favorite nickname.
"Hii Christen!" I shouted back.
"How's your ankle?" Alex asked sweetly.
I looked at Christen. "It's fine."
I would want nothing less than to have her feel bad about it. It wasn't even her fault anyways, it was mine.
My fault thinking I could dribble out the whole team.
As my father says, I'm not good enough. I don't even know why I'm on this team.
It was my own stupidity that got me hurt.
My coach called us over, thankfully interrupting my thoughts.
Everyone went over, but Christen hung back with slow 'ol me.
"You okay?" She asked.
I looked at her, curiosity in my eyes. "Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"
"You seem off."
"I'm okay."
She gave me a look that said she didn't believe me.
"Seriously," I half-heartedly laughed a bit, to make it seem more believable. "I'm fine."
"You can talk to me, you know."
"Okay." I looked at her, speaking softly.
We finally made it to the group, where my coach was already explaining some drills.
"And finally we have Teagan back with us, hoping for a speedy recovery."
Coach looked towards me, probably expecting me to say how long I'd be out for.
So, I did.
"6 weeks in a cast and three in a boot."
Not speedy.
Kaia gasped. "Ugh! You traitor!" She jokingly kicked my crutch, causing me to stumble a bit, so I hit her shin with extra leg.
"Ow." She grumbled, rubbing her shin.
"Karmas a bit-"
"OKAY girls, let's carry on." Coach suggested.
"Good idea, Coach!" Chloe shouted out.
He explained some more drills that they were going to work on, but I didn't really pay attention.
I didn't need to anyways, I'm injured!
