Hey, gotta tell you something...meet me at the frontier park in ten minutes
'Why does he want to meet me at a park?' I asked myself.
Then it hit me. He was going to ask me out!! I freaked out, and got cleaned up, changed, did my makeup and hair in only five minutes!!
On my way!!
I texted him.

OK...see ya in a few!!!
I rushed out of the house, and basically ran to the park.
Hayes' family and mine both live pretty close to the park, so it was easy on both of us.

Four minutes later:
I had finally made it to the park entry, and skipped towards the swing set. I don't think that swings could ever get old!!
After a few minutes of swinging, a red Subaru pulled up, and Hayes was the first to jump out.
It amazed me how fast this boy could move.
Nash, Hayes' older brother got out of the car, and walked around to help their yo under sister Skylynn out of her car seat.
Hayes ran towards me at an incredible speed, and jumped onto the swing next to me.
I got butterflies.
"So, the other day, I was talking to someone that we both know" Hayes said, without a greeting.
"Yeah" I promted him on.
"And I decided to ask out Jazlin!!" He said with joy.
"Oh, that's...wonderful..." I tried to smile.
I felt like Hayes just punched me in the gut. I wanted to cry.
" You are the third person I told, I told my mom, then Nash." He said.
I glanced over at Nash. He was chasing Sky around, they were both in hystarics.
I looked down at my phone. "M-my mom texted me," I said "She wants me to come home." I lied.
"Okay, are you still coming over tonight to study, or no?" He asked
I don't think I can stand to look at him anymore, his eyes were like daggers, stabbing me in the back.
"No." I replied. "I've got to go." And I left before he could say goodbye.
