Adalinas P.O.V
Cameron and I walked outside to find Hayes sitting on my porch. He looked up, and shot a glare of confusion at Cameron, then looked at me, his eyes an incredible shade of blue. "Adalina," he said with a sincere look on his face. "Can I talk to you alone?" he asked, looking over at Cameron. "Yea, I have to go meet Meghan at her house anyways, her moms being a bitch and she wants to leave," Cam said looking at his phone. He walked past Hayes, and stopped and whispered something in his ear that caused Hayes to blush, and walked into his car.
Hayes looked back at me, and slightly smiled at me, he looked nervous. "So, I have to tell you something, but you have to swear not to say anything to anyone, at all." he said. I nodded.
"So I don't actually like Jazlin, and I didn't ask her out..."
Now I am seriously confused, "So then why did you say yes?" I asked.
"Lina, you know damn well that I am not good at rejecting people, so I said yes, but I don't know how to brea--" he let out a large puff of air as I ran into him, embracing him.
I was crying into his shoulder now, saying "I thought that you didn't love me." I hiccupped between sobs. "I didn't know wh--" He grasped my shoulders, and pulled me from him. "Lina, why would you ever think something like that? I will always love you." he reassured me, pulling me back into his arms.
