Hayes' P.O.V
"I need to talk to Adalina...Alone" her mom said, looking at me.
"Yes, I have to use the restroom, then I'll leave." I said. I hugged Adalina, and said "See you tomorrow...bye." I walked out, and as soon as I closed the door, her mom went off. "Where the hell were you!?" she yelled. I lingered at the door, wanting to hear what happened. "You say that there's an emergency, you leave, then you don't come back for two days!! You didn't even call me?!" she yelled.
"Mo-"
"And you were half an hour late for school!! Its that Hayes, isn't it?!"
"No"
"You know what...I don't want you talking to him anymore!"
"Mom!!? No I love him" Adalina whined. I felt bad now.
"Don't you give me attitude--"
"I'M NOT!!" Lina interrupted.
~SMACK~ silence, then I heard Lina crying.
"I fucking hate you...Im leaving, i'm moving with Meghan." I heard her bed shift, and I could hear her rummaging around.
"No, Adalina, don't...im so sorry--"
"Shut up"
I left the house then.
