When I showed up at Hayes' house, there were two cop cars, and his mom was hold Sky who appeared to be crying. Nash was talking to one of the police. As I got closer to Nash, I heard the officer say " well unless he's been gone for 24 hours, there's nothing we can do, I'm sorry." He said, and walked away from Nash.
Nash's hands were fisted, and his face was red. " What happened?" I asked. "Where's Hayes at?"
"Well, we don't know exactly what happened, Hayes has been too quiet lately, and he never came home from school today, and no one's heard anything from him since then."
I looked at him with disbelief. There was no way Hayes was missing. I took my phone out and called Hayes' number.
Ring...
Ring...
Ring...
"Hey."
"Hayes? Hayes!" I called.
"Hey, um I cant hear yo--" he started laughing. "Just kidding, sorry I didn't answer your call, I either don't wat to talk to you, or I'm busy. Leave me a text."
"damnit!!" I yelled. I forgot about his little trick, I looked to Nash, and startedcrying.
