Finally after a long two weeks of monotonous exams, the year was over.
Winter break was incoming."You excited for Felix's Christmas party?" Hayun nudged Dae as they sat in their first year homeroom for the last time of this year.
For once, Dae wasn't leaving away at her revision or homework.
"I guess" Dae shrugged.
"You know who's going?~" Hayun grinned cheekily, as she pointed over at Sunghoon who was taking something out of his locker at the back of the classroom.
"S—shut up—! He might hear you..!" Dae muttered, swatting down Hayun's hand in a flustered mess.
Hayun let out a small, free laugh at her friend's reaction.
"Good morning~" Eunji chirped as her and Jake entered the homeroom, with their usual bag full of breakfast goodies.
Sunghoon took notice, and sat in Eunji's seat before she could.
"Are we going to claim MY seat as yours now, Sunghoon?" Eunji groaned, pulling up a chair as Jake sat in the free chair next to Hayun, who as sitting in front of Sunghoon and Dae.
"I guess so?" A smile hugged at the corners of Sunghoon's mouth.
Jake dumped the food onto the table, sliding Dae's kimbap over to her.
They all took notice of her hesitance.
Longer than yesterday.
"How's skating training?" Hayun asked Sunghoon.
He let out of short groan, Dae watched as he ran his fingers through his hair and how it looked so soft.
"Tiring, the solo coach is way more strict than Ms Han." Sunghoon grumbled
The other three assumed that 'Ms Han' was Hayun and Sunghoon's previous coach.
"I'm sure it's so much fun being there with Sunhee all day too" Hayun said.
"Yeah, right." Sunghoon laughed.
The other four looked at his reaction, perplexed.
What did that mean?
"What is wrong with me?" Dae slammed her head against her locker door as Yoon watched her in amusement.
It was passing period, the pair had dance together.
"I dunno, what is wrong with you?" Yoon replied, not knowing how to console her.
"What's wrong with me is that I'm in love with this guy that I don't really know that well but I know that well andddd.." Dae trailed off quietly as Jake's head peered around the locker door next to her.
Yoon's mouth formed an 'o' shape.
Why did his best friend have to be here right now?
"Uhhh.. soo..." Yoon tried to start a conversation to cover up what Dae was saying, failing miserably.
"You— WHATTT???" Jake threw his hands to his head and his eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his sockets.
Everyone in the hallway was looking at them now as Yoon and Dae hushed him.
"Shut the fuck up man" Yoon hissed, not enjoying the attention.
"My bad" Jake awkwardly smiled, scratching the back of his neck, "by the way, I'm totally team Daehoon, not Sunghee"
"Why is Sunhee and Sunghoon even an option?" Yoon rolled her eyes.
If there was something she knew about Dae's situation, it was that she didn't like Sunhee.
"Well" Jake said, the other two waited for him to finish his sentence in anticipation
Why was Sunhee an option?
Just then, the bell rang for fourth period to start.
"Shit we're gonna be late to dance, let's go" Yoon groaned, pulling Dae along as she shut her locker door, "YOU BETTER TELL US WHAT YOU WERE GONNA SAY LATER, JAKE!"
"Maybe~?" Jake cheekily grinned as he walked in the opposite direction.
