3 MONTHS LATER :

"Don't mess this up, you know the consequences if you do." Sunghoon's mom warned with a slightly sinister undertone.

"Yes, mom" Sunghoon said blankly.

It was the day of his competition, everything he had been working for was all coming down to this very moment.

Last time he was on this rink, he fucked it up.
He, his mom and his coach wouldn't let that happen again.

"Where is he?" Dae anxiously looked at the side where the skaters were, Hayun and Yoon were sat either side of her.

"Uhh.... Oh— there!" Hayun pointed at Sunghoon on the side.

Their faces dropped slightly as they saw his expression

Sadness? Nervousness?

You couldn't tell what was going through the boy's head.

"And up next is Park Sunghoon!" The announcer said, the crowd went wild for him as he entered the rink with a bright smile.

He got himself positioned into the center of the rink, taking a deep breath in.

The audience went quiet, encapsulated by his performance. He glided on the ice, perfectly sliding into one trick after another.

While everyone was focused on his tricks on the ice, Dae listened to the lyrics intently.

His face was full of emotion, like he was a part of these lyrics. He had perfectly rehearsed everything down to a t.

The crowd roared as he finished his perfect, polished performance. He smiled, heaving breaths in joy.

Dae, Yoon and Hayun jumped up from their seats, cheering for him. He skated off of the rink, they noticed a familiar face waiting at the opening.

Dae watched as that familiar face smashed her lips into his.

"Shouldn't that be me?"

The crowd went even more crazy as Sunghoon and Sunhee locking lips was on the big screen.

Once they pulled away from each other, Sunghoon just so happened to have looked into the crowd.

He made direct eye contact with Dae.

She stood there, with a faint smile on her face as a tear fell down her face. Hayun had her hand on Dae's back while Yoon a disappointed and angered look on her face.

Hayun shook her head and Sunghoon watched as the three of them pick up their belongings.

Before he had time to register anything else Sunhee pulled him into a kiss again.

He quickly snatched his guards off of his coach and put them in while running past the judges and into the audience area.

"Dae!" He shouted, trying to squeeze past all of the people.

Sunghoon tried to keep track of the two girls speeding away towards the exit.

Eventually, he made it outside.
He looked like an absolute lunatic still in his full skating outfit and his skates on with his guards.

"Dae— Dae wait up!" He heard Hayun's voice screech the distance.

He looked to his left where he heard her voice, Yoon was probably 20 metres away from him looking like she was about to call someone. Hayun was bolting down the road after Dae.

"Yoon, I—" Sunghoon approached Hayun, tapping on her shoulder.

"You— fucking idiot!" Yoon yelled, brushing him off.

"I can explain, I swear—!" He began to explain himself.

"Explain what?! How you kissed Sunhee— not once, but twice?! Did everything that happened between you and Dae mean nothing?" Yoon screamed at him, "How can someone explain themselves for something like that, huh? You're just a fucking egotistical rich guy, who thinks he can plays with anyone he wants"

It took sunghoon a while to register everything that she said, and by that time she had already turned away.

"No— Yoon please! You don't understand!" Sunghoon pleaded for her to listen to him, grabbing onto her arms tightly.

"Let go of me!" Yoon said, shoving him away, "You know, I really thought you were a good person for Dae. Was everything you did for her just to lead her on? Are you really nothing to each other? Huh!?"

"I—"

"Enough, I don't want to talk to you. Not just that, but I don't want you anywhere near my friends" Yoon spat, and she began running in the direction that Hayun and Dae went.

Sunghoon would've run after her if he wasn't in his skates.

Instead, he just watched as Yoon ran after the other two as they disappeared down the street.

What was he going to do?
