It is Yoohyeon's second week in her new college, and she is currently sitting in the cafeteria, enjoying her lunch while playing games on her phone.
"Dear Yoo, who taught you to eat and play games at the same time, hm?" She hears Jiu's voice from behind, followed by one of her sexy chuckles. Yoohyeon takes a deep breath to calm herself before facing her. "Hello to you too, Jiu unnie!"
They smile at each other, and Jiu plops down onto the bench next to Yoohyeon. "How are you doing?" Jiu inquires while putting an overfilled spoonful of chilli paste into her bibimbap.
"It's alright. The classes are similar to the ones in my previous school, the professors seem nice enough...isn't that a bit too much chilli, Jiu unnie?" Yoohyeon looks at Jiu's concoction, consisting of rice, some grilled meat and veggies, and an unbelievable amount of chilli paste.
"Don't you worry about me, Yoo. I can take some heat," Jiu replies, sending Yoohyeon a wink. Yoohyeon bites her tongue in order not to squeal. "I-if you say so..."
They focus on their food for some time, and then continue to chat.
"How did you meet your bandmates and Sua, Jiu unnie?"
"Well, I've known Siyeon since kindergarden, Sua and I were classmates in high school, Handong also went to the same high school - I was her math tutor for some time." So Jiu studies math, Yoohyeon concludes. That's pretty sexy, at least if you ask Yoohyeon. She continues listening to Jiu.
"I've gotten to know Dami after I heard her play drums in the basement one day, and Gahyun, hehehe, well, she thought I was pretty and asked me for an autograph. At the time, she was in first grade of middle school, and I was in third. We've been staying in touch ever since. And now I have a weapon to use against her, if need be."
Yoohyeon laughs: "Damn, poor girl." Jiu gasps dramaticaly: "What kind of a she-devil do you take me for?" Yoohyeon's words leave her mouth before she could filter them: "An angel, rather. AAI!" She clasps her hand over her mouth as soon as realisation hits her.
Yoohyeon did not regret it though, seeing Jiu's bright smile. "Thanks. Who would've thought you like to flirt so much... Guess it's my turn now," she clears her throat and turns towards Yoohyeon fully, before continuing: "Give me a random word, I'll make a pick-up line out of it," Jiu instructs.
Yoohyeon ponders for a second, then notices an apple on one of the tables next to theirs. "Apple." Jiu nods, then snorts: "It's gonna be kinda cringe, but here I go: If you were a fruit, you'd be a FINE-apple."
Yoohyeon bursts out laughing. "That was cute, actually. You always do these...uhm...pick-up line challenges?" Jiu shrugs: "I guess. With people I actually like, of course."
Yoohyeon panics a bit at the bold statement. "Feel free to give me more words, if you want," she offers. Yoohyeon would never say no to such an opportunity. "Sure! Hmm...shirt."
"Aah," Jiu immediately makes a sigh of revelation. "Wanna touch my shirt? It's made of girlfriend material~" she follows that up with a wink, and Yoohyeon cannot contain her signature squeal. "AAI!... T-that w-was a good one... Khem khem, hmm, next up...fire," Yoohyeon challenges.
Jiu ponders for a few moments, then she looks at Yoohyeon with a shocked expression. "Stop! Drop and roll!" Yoohyeon looks at her in frantic confusion: "What? Why?? Where???" And Jiu continues: "Because baby, you're on fire."
Obviously, Yoohyeon could not suppress her squeal, again. But she was determined to keep going anyway.
"Your next word is oven."
Jiu looks like she has been waiting for this one as she replies: "Did you just come out of an oven? Because you're too hot to handle. Ouch!"
How can someone sound so hot saying 'ouch'?? The answer remains hidden to Yoohyeon, the lesbian in distress. And the self-destructive kind at that.
