Y/n POV

I was in Miami, Florida on tour as Rae is back in LA with the kids. It feels really lonely since I'm by myself but my manager and a couple of back up dancers are with me. I was doing soundcheck for about an hour and talking to my fans. I'm performing at universal studios in Florida. After I was done with soundcheck I explored universal studios with two of my bodyguards with me. I took a few pictures with my fans and then headed back to where I'm about to perform. I got a text from Emily saying that next week her and Greyson will visit me and I was super excited to see them. This is gonna be the first time I will meet my nephew, he is the same age as Allison and Lucas.

It's been almost six years since I last seen her in person and how we both got scars from Sam and is very insecure about them. That's when an idea came to me, I should write a song about me and Emily and any girl who feels insecure about themselves. I walked in my changing room and took out a notebook and started brainstorming the lyrics. It took a couple minutes before I started writing.

She just wants to be, beautiful
She goes, unnoticed she knows, no limits
She craves, attention she praises, an image
She prays to be, sculpted by the sculptor

Oh, she don't see, the lights that's shining
Deeper than the eyes can find it
Maybe we have made her blind
So she tries to cover up her pain
And cut her woes away
Cause cover girls don't cry
After their face is made

But there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark
You should know you're beautiful just the way you are
And you don't have to change a thing
The world could change its heart
No scars to your beautiful
We're stars and we're beautiful

Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh

And you don't have to change a thing
The world could change its heart
No scars to your beautiful
We're stars and we're beautiful

She has dreams to be an envy, so she starving
You know, cover girls eat nothing
She says, beauty is pain and there's beauty in everything
What's a little bit hunger?
I could go a little while longer, she fades away

She don't see her perfect
She don't understand she's worth it
Or that beauty goes deeper than the surface
Oh-oh, oh-oh
So to all the girls that's hurting
Let me be your mirror
Help you see a little bit clearer
The light that's shines within

There's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark
You should know you're beautiful just the way you are
And you don't have to change a thing
The world could change its heart
No scars to your beautiful
We're stars and we're beautiful

Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh

And you don't have to change a thing
The world could change its heart
No scars to your beautiful
We're stars and we're beautiful

No better you than the you that you are
(No better you than the you that you are)
No better life than the life that we living
(No better life than the life that we living)
No better time for your shine, you're a star
(No better time for your shine, you're a star)
Oh, you're beautiful, oh, you're beautiful

There's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark
You should know you're beautiful just the way you are
And you don't have to change a thing
The world could change its heart
No scar to your beautiful
We're stars and we're beautiful
