(y/n) slowly opened her eyes. She was on the shore somewhere, unfamiliar of her surroundings. 'Where am I?' (y/n) thought, looking around and standing up. When she turned around, there was a floating, glowing, blue ball in the air with white in the center. There were also little blue wisps around it. It had a small blue body but it didn't have a visible face or any visible arms and legs. It was a seelie, but (y/n) didn't know what that was yet.

"Who are you?" (y/n) asked the seelie in curiosity. It didn't answer and just flew somewhere ahead with (y/n) behind it. "Do you want me to follow you?" (y/n) asked it. But it just kept flying and (y/n) still following it. "Where are you taking me?" asked (y/n). The seelie kept flying until it stopped in front of a big statue on a small part of land with water surrounding it.

Still filled with curiosity, (y/n) managed to get across the water (don't ask how) and touched the statue. (y/n) felt a sudden power inside of her small body then felt really tired right after. She yawned and gradually began to fall asleep on the floor.

"Mmm..." (y/n) mumbled. She slowly opened their eyes to be found in someone's arms. (y/n) yawned, rubbing her eyes trying to see where she was right now. "Look! She's waking up!" said a voice, which startled (y/n), causing her to throw her arms around whoever was carrying her. "Huh?" said a female voice from above (y/n), who slowly began to look up, toward the voice.

She had short, blond hair with some flowers tucked in it. She wore really exotic clothes and her eyes were like an amber sort of color. (I'm not good at explaining details sorry-) (y/n) and the strangers were sitting on/floating near a boulder that was on the shore she originally woke up on.

(y/n) pointed toward the ground, meaning they wanted to be let down. "You want me to put you on the floor?" the lady asked. (y/n) nodded, so the lady put down the child onto the sandy floor. (y/n) looked around and picked up a nearby sticked. Confused on what the girl was doing, they asked, "What are you doing?" but the little girl ignored them and continued to write, "Who are you?" on the sand, using the stick to write it.

"I'm Lumine," said the one sitting on the boulder. "And thats my emergency food." Lumine said, pointing to the floating fairy. She had white hair, a crown or halo above her head, and had a cape with stars that were always slightly moving. "Hey! Paimon isn't emergency food! Paimons Paimon!!" angrily shouted the fairy that sounded like a 4 year old child, stomping her foot on the air.

"My name is" (y/n) wrote next to the previous message. You could tell she was confused because she just stared at it with a confused expression on her face, probably trying to remember what her name is. "You don't know what your name is?" asked Paimon, "Hey.. why are you just writing on the floor instead of talking?" (y/n) started to write again, writing: "no, I don't remember.. And i'm just shy to talk right now.."

"How about we make a name for you?" Paimon suggested. "Like... (y/n)?" (y/n) excitedly nodded, liking the new name she just got.

Lumine's pov

'Well that explains a lot of things..' thats when I noticed, (y/n) has an anemo vision on her waist. "What is that?" I asked her, pointing to the glass ornament on her waist. I guess it was the first time she noticed too, because she was looked shocked when she saw it there too. "Where are your parents?" I asked. "I dont know where they are.." she wrote on the sand.

"How about you come with us to Mondstadt?" Asked Paimon. "We're pretty close to there anyway!" "ok!" (y/n) wrote in the sand.

No one's pov

Everyone was walking in the forest until they saw a dragon and a boy. "...don't be afraid. It's alright now, I'm back." Said the boy, to the growling dragon. "Is he talking.. to a dragon?!" whispered Paimon. Then, a light appeared in Lumine's hands and a small gust of wind from (y/n)'s.

The dragon, startled, roared. "Who's there?!" exclaimed the boy. The dragon started to fly away as the boy in green started to glow a light blue and supposedly teleported away.

After the dragon flew away, Paimon panted, "that was close, Paimon almost got blown away! Luckily, Paimon managed to get a hold of your hair, thanks!"

"good thing the dragon didn't notice us.." Lumine responded.

"Just what was that, Paimon thought we were gonna get eaten! Hmm.. it definitely had something to do with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon.." Paimon said.

"I can't believe dragon exist in this world." Said (y/n)

"Yeah, Paimon gets why you're worried.." Paimon said, "Hey, what's that?" Paimon asked, referring to a red glow in the distance.

The red glow was near the place where the dragon and the boy used to be. "Let's go check it out!" (y/n) said, really quietly. Fortunately, she was loud enough for both Paimon and Lumine to hear. They went toward the red light, which was actually a floating red teardrop crystal. "Be careful, Paimon doesn't have a good feeling about this." Paimon warned.

(i totally didn't directly copy this whole thing from the actual cutscene.. (except for 1 or 2 things) Totally 👍)

"This seems dangerous. We should put it away for now." Paimon told us. (y/n) nodded, taking the teardrop crystal and shoved it into her non-existent pockets. After we took the crimson crystal, we continued our way to mondstadt again.
