A few days after Lumine, Paimon, and y/n reunited, y/n wanted to explore outside Mondstadt city. She got some snacks and started wandering around.

Y/n was just minding her own business, eating (f/f).

As y/n was wandering the path, she heard a voice in the distance. She decided to check it out and went over to the direction of the sound.

Y/n saw a person who looked kind of like a girl. They had black to blue braids. They also had a green hat, a cape(?), and was holding a bow.

Once they had finished defeating some enemies, they turned around and saw y/n by their feet/legs.

"Huh? I don't think I've seen you around here before." They said, mostly to themselves, "Well, hi! I'm Venti the bard! Who are you?"

"I-i'm y-y/n.." you said in a quiet, almost whisper voice.

Lumine's POV

I was getting the rewards for finishing the daily commissions (Paimon was there too). I looked around to see that y/n wasn't by my leg.

I quickly started panicking, as y/n could easily get lost, as she was just a kid. I assumed that paimon noticed too, because I could see her frantically looking around, looking for y/n. Oh, and she was shouting, "WHERES Y/N!?!?!?"

3rd POV

Venti did a thinking motion and then suddenly started walking. Y/n followed him for a while until they came across a huge tree with a familiar looking statue in front of it.

Y/n felt like she was being lured toward it, like a moth to a flame. She was unkowingly walking to the statue until she heard a soft melody coming from her left. She looked and saw Venti playing his lyre.

Then y/n saw Venti take something out of his pocket. It was a crimson teardrop crystal like the one back in the forest.

She heard him say something but decided not to say anything about it.

Y/N POV

'How long will it take for you to make up your mind? I'm getting tired of waiting..!'

'Surely you can wait a little longer, plus, It hasn't even been that long since that deal we made. I'll make up my mind soon. You're acting like an impatient child.'

'I can take over your body whenever I fe-'

"Oh! I almost forgot. I promised the traveler that I would meet them at Starsnatch Cliff soon. Would you like to come, Y/N?"

I nodded, wanting to see what was going to happen at Starsnatch Cliff.

No one POV

" 🎶🎵 🎶 " the group was at Starsnatch Cliff as Venti played his lyre.

Soon after, a strong wind came, almost blowing y/n away. Then, y/n could make out a dragon from all the wind in her eyes. Gradually, the wind stopped, and y/n could make out the details more.

"You have come." Dvalin said. "What has been done cannot be undone..."

"If so, then why do I see sadness in your eyes?" Venti replied, "sadness that speaks of your yearning for this song.."

Suddenly, a light blue beam hit Venti, causing him to fall down and drop his lyre. Everyone (Diluc, Jean, the traveler, Y/N, and Paimon) rushed to Venti's aid.

A cryo abyss mage suddenly came out from behind dvalin and says, "Do not be fooled by him, dear dragon. He left you to rot alone. Now he attempts to deceive you once more."

Y/N could tell that the abyss mage was trying to take control of dvalin, and secretly called him (the abyss mage) a "poopyhead".

"Let's your wrath fester! Mondstadt has already turned its back on you!" The abyss mage told Dvalin, continuing to trick Dvalin into doing bad stuff.

"You! You were planning this all along? To have me slain by them?" Dvalin roared in anger.

The abyss mage said something about dvalin serving its/his(?) True master and then flew away with dvalin.

"Your Highness... your humble servant returns. When your homeland returns to this world, we shall revel in its glory."
