As you will notice when reading Chapter 8, the chapter splits into two POVs—Faye and Drew. I had not planned to kill off the former so soon, but I was experiencing severe writer's block, and after extensively researching split-POV chapters, I decided to try my hand at it. Please note: I am an amateur author—I repeat: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL—so don't come at me on my MB or in the comments about the turn the story has taken. It is my decision as a writer, and I'm sticking to it. Just because Faye is dead doesn't mean I will stop writing the Family Ties Series. Drew's story still needs to be told, and I will use this tragedy to expand on it.
