I fell in love with a Robot [Mikaze Ai]

"Ai-kun! Come play with me!" I whined as I tugged on his arm.

"Play? What's that Yuriko-chan?" Ai asked, looking at me with innocent eyes.

I sighed.

My name is Yuriko Otsuka. I am the daughter of a professor. My mother died some time after I was born so you could say that I never met her. My father spends most of his time inventing and his latest invention is Mikaze Ai, an idol robot created by request of Shining Saotome. I don't have any friends in school and my father rarely comes out of his lab so I am lonely and showed little emotion. That's before I met him. Father told me to teach Ai more about being human as an experiment. He was my first friend. Ever since then, I felt happy, but he's like a little kid even though I am nine and he is ten.

"I got it. According to my data, 'play' means to have fun... How would you like to have fun Yuriko-chan?" Ai asked.

He looked sort of cute...

"Are you okay? Yuriko-chan," he asked and leaned in closer to me and placed his hand on my forehead. "You don't have a fever..."

I blushed. He was so close to me...

I felt my heart beating faster.

Why is that?

Do I love him?

Do I love Mikaze Ai?

I don't understand it...
