M A G N U S D E L A C R O I X

Just one week. October 20th. I'll soon have the mafia. Well hopefully. Unless my dad stalls.

"Magnus!" Liam said. I got startled as I jumped up from my mat, gun in my hands, pointing it directly at him.

"Dude chill. You were zoned out. I just wanted to get you back in training." Liam assured me.

I relaxed and sat back down, running my fingers through my hair.

Liam asked, "Are you stressed or something?"

"Yea." I explained.

"Jeez Magnus from what?"

"You." I rolled my eyes.

"For real though. You look like you got hit by a bus." Liam laughed.

"I'm just thinking about the mafia."

"Relax. You'll do great. You've been waiting for the moment all your life." Liam reassured me. "And I'll be here to help you!"

"Thanks.." I said hesitantly.

I got up to put my mat away and decided training was over. I needed to go clear my mind. I was a little stressed anyways.

Before I left Liam told me something. Information I didn't need, but sounded important.

"You know Amira?" He asked.

"You mean The Louciano's daughter? Yea why?" I asked.

"I heard that she's the heir to the Italian mafia. I'm pretty sure she'll be taking it in like 2 months of something, on her birthday."

"Maybe the mafia has a chance of bringing the Italians down with some 20 year old girl ruling." He said as he has a smile on his face.

"It's short notice." I said." We don't even have a plan. Patrolling a mafia is enough. Taking down one is a lot of work."

"Whatever dude." He scoffed as I threw him my mat for him to put away and left.

About 10 minutes later after I got dressed, I hopped on my motorcycle and drove to a beach near by.

It was late at night, so no one was there.

I had this place to myself. Finally. I only needed peace and quiet. I didn't want to hear anything else but my thoughts.

I walked around on the beach for a while. I was lost. I'm sick and tired of all these new things coming up. The mafia was one thing. I prepared in that for in advance.

Bringing down another mafia was another. They were a little hard to get past. I found out before that they had like 5 different bases. It would be hard to get to them.

but our mafia was more advanced, stronger, more power full, smarter, oh! Forgot to say, Richer too.

I'd kill their mafia. Soon. Just not yet. Maybe take their little princess and convert her to our mafia.

I know that she's a good fighter. I've seen her fight before.

Once when I was around 16, I went to Italy with my mom and a few bodyguards to pick up a shipment. We stayed a few days just to see what Italy had.

I went to an arena cause I got curious. I was pretty fascinated. I saw a bunch of people doing martial arts stuff. I was also taking martial arts, so I appreciated the moves they used.

I saw one girl in the corner. She was good, really good. She literally did a backflip and kicked a guy in the face. It caught him off guard and she took that chance to grab his hands behind his back and pin him.

"I win!" She said proud.

"Whatever Amira. you can't kick me in the face! That's unfair." Her opponent said.

"Come on axel, we already fought 3 times. I'm not doing it again just because your excuse is that a girl hit you in the face." She said.

They laughed and at that moment, when I heard their names, I knew exactly who they were. I thought I could track them down and tell my dad.

I thought that they practiced at that arena everyday. I thought their mafia was around the area. I thought that if I followed them after practice, I could locate them. Make my father proud of me.

It never happened, because the next day, and day after that, I showed up their at the same time and they were never there.

I was still walking. I don't know why I thought of any of this that much. I guess it was a priority.

I decided to head back home. It was already 10:57. Pm.

I was supposed to practice my cello 2 hours ago.

I headed back home on my motorcycle and went into my instrument room. It was one of my favorite places in the mansion.

I had all sorts of instruments in their. Piano, bass, violin, harp, you name it. But my favorite was the cello.

I had been practicing since I was 8. It was my escape when I had a problem, and had no one to tell. I hadn't played it in a while which is why I wanted to practice today.

I have Liam now. I tell him everything. But just at this moment, I wanted times to myself.

I used to get so mad, that I would go to my instrument room and play the cello so intense and aggressively, that the hairs on my bow would break.

I stopped doing that though. Maybe that's why dad got me all those spares. In case I end up breaking the cello itself too.
