25|Focus

I fucked up last night; big time.

Everything between me and Amira will just be awkward. There wasn't feelings involved of course, but I think I did have some drinks.

I've been trying not to think about it but it's impossible. She pops up on my head every single fucking time.

All I think about is her. She's in every freaking corner in my mind. She was so vulnerable to me. Every single whimper and moan that came from her made me feel.. feel.

We probably stayed up until around 3:50? Lost track. The mission is today and I don't know how I'm gonna fucking focus considering I have to be with Amira the whole damn time.

Our mission was supposed to start at 8 am, but our supposedly new 'job' sent out a email to the trainees that we Will have to meet In a few hours considering the flashy weather outside.

The plan from what I have understood was to get to the training base undercover as a trainee for a few days, revive our card once we get the job, break in, take their shipments and stocks, and the rest is pretty self explanatory.

8:23 am.

I really didn't get that much sleep. I hardly remember what happened last night, but I remember enough, meaning whatever we did.. it was extreme.

After what we did, Amira fell asleep. I brought her back to her room and then knocked out on my own bed. Whatever interaction I make with her today, I can't let my thoughts cause me to hesitate on important things we need to discuss.

I got up and walked into the semi-long hallway to get to the front door. I wanted to get some air and clear my head for a bit.

Here I am stopping in my tracks, right in front of Amira's door. Can't say I hate to eavesdrop. I heard a voice on her phone as well as her own. It was muffled but I tried to make out what was being said.

"I know It's been a bit since I've called you. But a lot of...stuff, has just been on my mind." Amira said into the phone.

"No worries. Let me know how everything goes after today."

"Alright. Tell Axel I said to call me."

Something else was said after that but I couldn't  make it out and it left me curious.

I decided to just get out of the apartment asap, that way my chances of running into Amira were slim.

I wasn't scared to talk to her, I'm just... not sure how the conversation would go.

AMIRA LUCIANO

I got an email regarding our mission. We won't get to the base for a bit cause of the weather.

It's now an hour before we have to leave.

Tying up my hair, I hear the front door open and then slam shut.

Magnus.

Pretty sure it's him. I heard the front door earlier this morning so he's probably back from wherever he went.

I walk up to my room door and open it quick to see him on his way to his own room.

He stops in his tracks looking at me.

"We have to leave in an hour." I say with a long pause.

"I know? Why do you think I came back?" He rolled his eyes at me and continued to walk.

Rude much.

(1 hour passes)

Time to go.

I gather my stuff, attach my belt, strap on my knifes to my inner thigh, and wish for things to go smoothly.

Already walking out and seeing Magnus ready to go.

He takes one glance at me and goes back to staring at his phone while walking out with the keys.

I follow behind him locking the door and into the car.

We exchange absolutely no conversation, no looks; I didn't even breathe his direction.

The car ride was long and silent. I wanted to say something so the air wasn't so stuffy and uncomfortable.

"About what happened earlier in the living room, I just wanted to say that-"

"It was a mistake." Magnus cut me off.

"What?"

"That it was a mistake." He repeats himself .

"I was gonna say that it was unintentional and I didn't mean to cross any boundaries." I sink back into my seat.

Is he calling me a mistake? What?

"Amira you didn't cross any boundaries, I was freaking top." He boldly said.

He turned my direction and did an evil smirk. Probably cause I was red as fuck.

"Whatever" I turned to the window.

The car ride went back to being silent. Back to being empty.

We still had an hour ahead of us on the road; an hour of silence ?

My phone began to ring. I checked my pocket finding a call from Axel.

I pick it up, making sure my phone isn't on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hey beautiful!" Axel said with an excited voice. "Missed ya."

"Same here. Bored as hell and I'm missing home." I said as I stared out the window.

"What's been going on?" Axel asked.

"We're in the car. We should get to the base in like an hour."

"Be safe please and don't do anything dumb." Axel said in an annoyed voice.

"I won't I promise."

"I know you won't. Is Magnus being a jerk?"

I could just tell Magnus had one eye brow raised by the tone of his voice.

"Here and there, yea." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Is everything at home okay?" I made sure to ask.

"Yup we're chillin over here." Axel assured me."I'd love to talk to you all day but Vivian, liam, and I are gonna go out. We're getting bored of the business talk and getting bored of being bored."

"I'll just call you later then . Have fun love you!" I told Axel.

"Love you too miraa!"

I hung up, putting my phone back into my pocket. Magnus seemed to be unfazed.

AAAAAAAA HELLOOOOII MY LOVLIESSSSSS.

I'm actually so sorry I haven't updated in so long. I've been so busy with school and my own person life tbh. Summer was pretty sick. Met a guy 😉😉 he's a dreammmm. He reminds me of Magnus just not moody and attitude 💀 started school again, taking a few AP courses and I just started high school so I won't be updating as often but I'll still try to update as much as I can. Sorry this chapter was a bit short, I'll make sure the next one is longer. Love yall smmmmm
