Chapter Four

Charlotte POV

It has been two hours since I have been waiting for my wife. Waiting patiently at the hospital lobby while my back is hurting. Now I can't stand nor sat too long. My wife will re-create another fight for us and I believe, this is all her fault. She's not answering her phone calls or tried to contact me. I rubbed my baby bump, today supposed to be our 19 weeks ( 5 months) ultrasound. We purposely make it earlier a week since Engfa will be out of country next week for her business trip.

" Mrs Charlotte Waraha? I think we shall proceed with your appointment. The Dr has been waiting for so long". A nurse approached me, I nodded & follows her from behind.

" Hi. Good afternoon, P'char." Dr corn smiled. I return her smile and lay down on the bed.

" You sure you don't want to wait for your wife? I mean I can still wait for a few minutes-----".

" Wait!! I am so sorryy for arriving late, thanks nurse".

The door was open, revealing my wife with her full working attire with her suit on, but she purposely unbuttoned a few buttons. She looks a little messed. I didn't bother to look back at her while I was examined the Dr placed the ultrasound gel on my baby bump.

" Babe, I am so sorry. My phone battery drain and I was caught with a meeting with an important stakeholder. " Pfa said while she pulled the chair and sat beside me. I didn't respond to her, not at all.

" Ohh, good to see you P'fa. Your wife had been waiting for you for two hours you know? you should be sorry to her."

" I know, I am so sorry babe. Let's talk when we go back okay?" Pfa held my hand and kissed it, she was so excited to see our baby, me too. But I am still mad at her thought.

" Okay, let's see. Both parents ready? Let's find the baby".

" Yes, please proceed, Dr ". I said, both of us were so excited.

" Okay here it is. Can you see ?-- hold on ". Dr Corn gasped, she looks at us. Pfa was ready to throw a fist.

" What is it? Any issue with the baby? " Pfa said curiously, she was about to stood up but I pulled her hand to just sat still beside me.

" Suprise! This is Baby A & this is Baby B. It is a twin! Fratenal Twins! Congratulations!" . I was silenced. I look at my wife, she was stunned.

" You sure Dr? But why only now we can only know we will be expecting a twins?. I asked curiously.

" Well maybe Baby B just wants to shows up now. Well isn't it is a good news? No wonder I see you're showing earlier than singleton pregnancy."

" Can you re-check? " I asked. The Dr just nodded, the monitor literally shows there are two babies, in my belly. I look at Pfa, she give assurance to me and held both of hand tighter.

" You're right. She can't wear those clothes she used to wear before this. But twin? I am I -----". Pfa looks at me, she was about to cry and I am so suprise. We asks for one and we got two on the way. Are we ready?

Pfa helped me to get up from the bed and both of us walk to the consultation table. She let me sit while she was standing behind me. Both of hands caressing my shoulder.

" Well, the babies look healthy. Next round, we can check their genders. But I would like to remind you that the mother's blood pressure is quite high. Maybe you're stress. Mrs Engfa, kindly ensure your wife had enough support & don't let her stress ya?".

" I am okay, Dr. Maybe today is quite hot. Thank you for your assistance today". I said as we shakes hand. Pfa helps to open the door for me, her sneaky hand wrapped around my waist.
