Chapter Eight

Engfa POV

Amanda handed a cup of coffee to me. I was about to reject it, but I know, I need to maintain a good business relationship with her. She smiled when I took the coffee.

" Thanks"

" You're welcome. Anyways,  are you free next Saturday? I want you to accompany me somewhere". Amanda said while walking closer to me.

" No. Weekend is only for my family, my wife. We can arrange on weekdays instead, but bring over at least one of our clique with us".

" Hmm? Why? It is easy for only both of us to come". I smirked annoyingly. This girl will never give up ain't she? Can't wait until end of this year, when our company contract with her will finally ended.

" Is the flight gonna delay further?! How long??! I grunt in frustration.  It is already past 9pm at night. I can't leave my wife too long. The flight will at least took 2 hours to arrived. Despite of we only flew in this country, district to district flight will took quite sometimes.

" Calm down, they are handling it. " Nudee calm me down while sitting beside me.

" Yes? We have been listening to 2 announcement since before. Hope this is the last one". I said while scrolling down my social media.

" Why the girl is everywhere during our business trip?" Snack asked looking at me. I shrugged my shoulder.

" Well, no answer. You can ask her". I said annoyingly. Well we go here just for a day and I already misses my wife. Suddenly, my phone rang. It revealed my wife who was calling. I quickly pick up.

" Babe? Char?? Charlotte.....??!". I asked continuously. But, there is no answer. Suddenly, a loud crash can be heard from the other side and the call ended. Nudee & Snack were looking at me worriedly.

" What's wrong?" Snack asked me. I stood up and signalled my asisstant, Psun.

" Yes boss?".

" Call P'nuay or P'Aom, until you can reach them. Do not stop until they pick up your phone. Now?!!". I am so furious and worried.

" P'fa calm down? Can you please tell us what's wrong?". Nudee asked, she caress my shoulder.

" Charlotte called me just now. Then I heard a loud sound. Hopefully it ain't what I am thinking right?".

" No, calm down okay? Aom & Meena was with her". Nudee tried to calm me down. Suddenly, my phone is ringing. It revealed Meena on my phone screen. I quickly pick it up.

" Meena?? Is everything okay?"

" Calm down. Let me speak. I can't speak loudly now. I am at the hospital".

" Huh?!! Whats wrong?"

" Charlotte was assaulted by a man, can you come over to the hospital once you arrived?"

I was stunned. Dammnit, if something happens to my family, I won't forgive myself.

No One POV

Engfa rushes as soon as she touch down at Bangkok to the hospital with Nudee. She did not allowed others to follows her.

There, she saw her mom and sister, Pdad , Meena and Aom was waiting outside.

" How was my wife?" She asked to the group.

" She's okay, the babies healthy. A little bruise on her arms, but it will be okay in a day or two". Her mom said shile hugging her.
