"Aki, Himeno and Power."
Back once again in Makima's office, with Kobeni Higashiyama next to her, and with Aki Hayakawa, Himeno and Power standing in front of them.
"I wish for you to meet your new leader, Kobeni Higashiyama, please get along with one another."
Makima was currently introducing everyone with one another, with Higashiyama as the team leader, and with the three Devil Hunters as the new members of said team that was being formed.
"H-Hi, nice to meet you all, I-I promise to take care of you all."
Kobeni, as nervous and worried as always, quickly bows and tries to be friendly with them, no doubt wanting to make a good impression as their new leader.
"It's a pleasure."
Aki also bows back, he seems to be the more mature and polite one of the group.
"Hey Kobeni, I hope we become good friends with one another~"
Himeno just waves, she also seems to be just as mature and kind, but has a more laid back and friendly expression in comparison to her serious partner.
"What Makes You Think I'll Follow A Feeble Small Human?!"
But as for Power, she was none of those things like the other two, in fact, she was willing to both insult and challenge her so-called new team leader.
"H-Huh?"
Kobeni was surprised by this, not expecting to have anyone act like this towards her.
"I! THE ALMIGHTY POWER! Should Be The One To Lead This Team, With My Guidance, I Shall Lead Us To Victory!"
Power was already trying to assume command and make herself the new leader and replace the shape shifter.
"W-What-"
Kobeni was getting too confused by what was happening as she tried to stop the Blood Devil from acting like this and doing what she was doing.
"MIDGET! I Demand You To Bow Before Me, Unless You Wish To Challenge My Role Of Leadership!"
Power then pulls out a sword made from her own blood and aims it at Higashiyama, as she seems very willing to fight for the rights to command this team.
"U-Um?..."
Kobeni didn't really know how to respond to this, looking back at the Control Devil with an uncertain and hesitant expression.
"Prove who's the real Boss around here."
Makima gave an approving nod, which made the Devil Hunter sigh in defeat, reaching for the collar and pressing on it.
"KURUTTA!"
And in a flash of light, Kobeni has once again transformed into her familiar tiger woman Kurutta, much to her new group's surprise and interest.
"Oh..."
Specifically Power, who was starting to realize her mistake, a mistake that resulted in her being pinned down by the big and buff Tiger Kobeni with extreme violence.
"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING THE ALMIGHTY POWER!"
Kurutta wasted no time yelling at the Fiend, using all of her strength to hold her down all the while threatening to break her arms that was forcefully put behind her back.
"YOU WILL LISTEN TO WHAT KURUTTA, WHO IS ALSO KOBENI, HAS TO SAY, BECAUSE SHE IS THE LEADER OF THIS GROUP, AND SHE WILL DO EVERYTHING TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE IN MY TEAM!"
Kurutta then grabs the back of the Blood Devil hair and brings her head close to her feline face.
"So you will listen to Kurutta, aka Kobeni, before she turns the Almighty Power into an Almighty Powder, capiche?..."
Kurutta then whispers in the ear of her new team member, as she threatens her to behave unless she wants to suffer a world of pain.
"YES ALMIGHTY KURUTTA!"
Luckily Power was able to understand the position she was in and had no choice but to submit to the Beastly Higashiyama, unless she wanted to suffer her wrath.
"Wow, she actually got the Blood Fiend to listen to her..."
All the while that was happening, both Himeno and Hayakawa couldn't help but watch it all with extreme interest, the one eyed hunter specifically found it amusing.
"Mhm."
Aki decided to say nothing about it, and just see how things would turn out.
"I hope this helps you all understand why she's your new leader."
After a while of letting Kobeni beat some sense into the Fiend, everything was forced to go back to normal as Makima continued to speak with everyone.
"Now then, I don't particularly have any mission in mind for you all, so for now, take this time to get to know each other, maybe train with each other, ok?"
Once everything was said and done, making sure everyone knew their new roles, Makima decided to end today's meeting and let everyone leave, so that they could all have a chance to get to know each other and prepare for the future.
"U-Understood Makima."
Kobeni bows in both gratitude and understanding to her Boss, before looking back at her group, a bit more nervous than before since what she did with her Devilish Member.
"U-Um, let's go Team?"
But after Kobeni cleared her throat and gained enough courage, she began to lead her team out of the office and probably do something with them to increase their trust with one another and such, Makima just watched them leave with a very interested expression.
'Can't wait to see how this turns out~...'
Soon it was night time, as the new team that was formed, after having a chance to get to know each other and maybe trained a little, decided to go home for the day and go their separate ways.
"Queen Kobeni!"
Though before Higashiyama could leave like the others, she was immediately stopped by Power, who clearly wished to speak with her.
"You don't need to call- Ugh, never mind..."
Kobeni sighs, too exhausted to correct her teammates, she just went ahead and listened to what the Fiend had to say, hoping it wouldn't take long.
"Yes Power?"
When Kobeni was ready, the Blood Devil couldn't help but hesitate, looking down shyly and nervously, which honestly surprised the team leader to see such an expression on her teammate.
"C-Can thy see the Great Feline Kurutta?"
Though surprise turned to shock after realizing what Power just asked of her.
"H-Huh? Why?"
Kobeni did not understand why the Fiend would want her to transform into someone who just yelled at her not too long ago.
"I-I have a fondness for kitty cats, and your meowy transformation was cute to bear witness..."
Power was able to admit her reasoning on why she desires to see Kurutta again.
"CUTE?!"
Though the Blood Devil reasoning was enough to make Kobeni blush in embarrassment.
"So may I, please?..."
Usually Kobeni would've said no to whatever Power would have to say to her, but after seeing a side of the Fiend that was very rare, not to mention being given the puppy begging eyes, Higashiyama didn't have the heart to deny her...
"Who's a good kitty cat, who's a good kitty cat?~"
"Hehe, Kurutta is a good kitty~"

I believe the next chapter would finally begin the story of the Chainsaw Man, I'm excited~
(Not sure if this makes anyone happy, but with the inclusion of Kobeni, Himeno won't die like she did in the original)
