"So this is happiness..."
Kobeni Higashiyama, who was in her house pj's clothing, was currently laying on her Full size bed, which was currently in her somewhat large room, which was also part of a penthouse apartment, ever since her room was destroyed by the meteorite, the same one that gave her the collar, she has been living here most of the time, a gift given by her Boss, Makima.
"I have a real home, I have money, I have a team of my own that I can rely on."
Kobeni then reaches over and rubs the collar on her neck, the item she once hated, and thought would cause her nothing but trouble, was now something she was glad that she was glad that she has.
"And I even have powers that helped me get this my life."
It made Kobeni smile to herself, she just couldn't help it, she never once enjoyed the life she was given, but now, that happiness she felt, and what she was able to gain from it, she just doesn't want to lose it.
'I will do everything in my power to never give this life up to anyone or anything!"
Before Kobeni could continue acting all determined and motivated, she was interrupted by the sound of a phone call, which made her sit up from her bed and answer it.
"It's Makima, and I have a job for you."
A moment later, after being given a mission by Makima, Higashiyama has soon found herself at the outside of a barn, usually being here alone in this situation would make her nervous and worried, which she was still a bit.
"T-The Zombie Devil is here..."
But Kobeni, she was feeling confident, not too over confident, but just enough to make her not be as afraid and looked more ready to fight the Zombie Devil that might be inside.
"I wonder what kind of transformation would be appropriate for this situation..."
Kobeni then looks down at her collar dial, gives it a few twists and turns, looking through her selection of forms that might be ideal to use, before pressing the button.
"MIIRA!... I really need to control that..."
In a flash of bright white light, Kobeni has suddenly transformed into someone called Miira, a form that gave her the appearance of a mummy looking creature, or living bandages and wraps, even her suit seems to be made and part of her strips of paper, the only parts of her body not made of same materials would be her masked helmet thing that seemed to have taken shape and replace of her head, with a mix of an Egyptian style to it, also still had her hair pin attached to it.
"Hopefully this will be enough..."
Miira then rushed into the barn, as she was prepared to deal with whatever the Zombie Devil might offer her, she hopes.
"H-Huh?"
Though instead of finding the Zombie Devil, or even Zombie related enemies, Miira instead found a young man that looked human and normal at first, until you noticed he had chainsaws coming out of his arms and head, all the while was standing on a pile sliced bits and pieces of what remained of the undead creatures she was supposed to be facing, the Mummy Kobeni didn't really know how to properly react or do in this situation.
"Oh! You Want Some To?! Then Take This You Mummy Devil!"
But as for the Chainsaw Man, he seemed to have some ideas, mistaking the Egyptian Higashiyama as some kind of Devil, he did not hesitate to attack her, revving up his spinning blades and charged towards her, which she simply responded by sending out her bandages towards him, wrapping up his entire body.
"W-WHAT THE?!"
The Chainsaw Man tried to use his weapons to cut the wrappings, but all that managed to accomplish was jamming up the blades due to bandages getting stuck in the spins, leaving him both tied up and defenseless.
"Um, you're not the target, but I can't exactly let a Devil roam free..."
Miira used the arm that had wrapped up the Chainsaw Man to bring him closer to her masked face, while using the other hand to turn her bandages into a spinning paper drill, no doubt planning to kill him.
"Sooooo, goodbye I guess?..."
But just as Miira was about to pierce the Chainsaw Man and probably end her mission early, she couldn't help but suddenly stop herself and wear a very shock expression on her masked face, as all of the chainsaws started to melt and fade away, and left behind a very tired young blonde male, a normal looking person specifically who didn't looked evil or possessed in any shape of far, the living wrappings didn't know how to properly react to this.
"A-A Human?!"
This moment of hesitation and confusion was enough to make Miira release the blonde boy, much to his surprise.
"Huh? Weren't you just about to kill me?"
The blonde was now the one to be confused, as he didn't understand why the Mummy Kobeni was suddenly releasing him now even though she was about to kill him a moment earlier.
"I... Am not sure, please give one second?"
Miira honestly didn't have an answer for the blonde, so instead, she pulled out her phone and hoped to call someone who might have the answer.
"Um, Makima? It's me, Kobeni... Technically yes, I've completed the mission, But..."
As Miira was distracted with her phone call, the blonde thought it might be best to either sneak attack the Egyptian Higashiyama or simply run away, he might choose the latter.
"-Yes, I understand, thank you..."
But just before the blonde could do either or, a flash of white light momentarily blinded him, which made him pause in his attempts to attack or escape.
"M-My name is Kobeni..."
However, what truly made the blonde stop, was seeing the living wraps turned back into Kobeni, which made him gasp, clearly wasn't expecting to see a transformation turned back into a cute girl.
"Would you, um... Would you like to come home with me?..."
Kobeni reaches a hand towards the blonde, who couldn't help but blush softly in response, no doubt not used to seeing such a beautiful girl, nor used to having said beautiful girl offer a helping hand to him, but even so, he didn't reject the offer, reaching back and gentle grabbed onto the hand that was given to him.
"... Yes please."

Uh oh, I accidentally put myself in a potential Kobeni X Denji that never even crossed my mind until after I wrote this chapter, um..... Anyone interested in this ship idea?
(Basically the idea is a "WHAT IF: Denji meets Kobeni first instead of Makima" type of situation, I wonder if anyone else came up with this idea, hm)
