After a month and few days of being home Ashton and I began packing for college. I bought a security system for the house and prepared it for just being a summer home. Ashton and I planned for staying momentarily. After all the lab work and such we had a baby growing in a lab. Biologically ours with a surrogate. The surrogate was a woman who was more than happy to carry for us, seeing as we were a gay couple. Her brother was trans so she was excited to do something positive for our people.

They used a swab of spit to convert into a sperm like substance that contains my DNA. Lecter DNA.

In a normal world I would've asked Papa if he could donate sperm but I don't know where he is so it wouldn't work out.

We're also adopting a child, from Ashton's biological parents. Ashton's biological cousin, Arthur. A three year old. With almost a trillion dollars and probably more we can definitely afford it.

One evening Ashton was sitting by the fireplace, he had picked up sewing as a hobby and was sewing baby blankets for the arrival of our new kids. I was smoking a cigarette, the same old pack Papa had in his desk drawer while listening to classical music on a record player. I smiled as I watched Ashton.

"Mick?" He asked looking up at me.

"Yes dear?"

"What about their appetites?"

"The kids?"

"Yeah."

"Normal kid things." I said. "I'm not my father, they can have McDonald's." I chuckled.

"I know but you." He began. "Your appetite and the things you do.."

"I don't give you human meat without your knowledge correct? I won't to the kids either."

"Good." He said, I could tell he genuinely didn't care that I killed and ate people, but he didn't want our kids in that life.

As we were discussing baby names there was a knock at the door. I got up prepared to shoo away a journalist but it was 9 pm.

I opened the door and Jack stood there.

"Mick.." He said. A deeper look in his eyes told me he had heavy conversations coming.

"Jack, would you care to come in?"

"No no, I just came by to uh.. let you know that Hannibal surrendered and is being taken to the Baltimore State Hospital for the criminally insane."

"Oh dear." I said. "I'll grab my coat." I went back in and grabbed my coat and let Ashton know where I was heading. I got into the car with Jack since he offered to take me.

"How did he? Where did he?" I asked fumbling with my hands.

"Long story kid." Jack said. "So how's Ashton?"

"We're married and about to have kids." I said nervously.

"Congratulations, apologies I couldn't attend the wedding. I know how hard it is to not have a parent or any family there."

I kept my smirk to myself. "It's fine."

When we arrived I went through a metal detector and they did a pat down. Once in a conference room with Dr. Chilton and Alana Bloom I sat down.

"Michael.." Chilton began. "So I'm assuming you're here to see Hannibal right?"

"Yes." I admitted.

"Hannibal is still considered dangerous." Alana chimed in. "However I doubt he'd hurt you."

"I know he won't." I added.

"Barney, Take Michael here into Lecter's cage." Chilton instructed. "You get one hour." He added before the guard came and escorted me. When I arrived I saw him, his hair shorter, like in my younger years. White suit and behind a glass cage. As if he were on display in a museum.

"Papa!" I said as Barney unlocked the cage while another had a gun pointed at him so he couldn't escape. Papa smiled at me. I have him a hug. I hugged him so tight that the guards had to let me know that physical contact for extended periods of time was prohibited. I sat on the floor while Papa sketched. We talked and talked. I told him about Ashton and I's kids. The one we had one the way and the other we're adopting. This became a weekly routine. Except I wasn't always allowed inside. Most days I just spent on the ground in front on the cage crying. I dropped out of college just so I could scream and cry in pain. Perhaps if Chilton had sympathy he could work out something. Even a few months later while Ashton went to Lithuania for college a week ago after the twins were born and I was at home with the kids. Ashton thought it was my depression that made me not want to go. He was partially right.

Ashton picked up on Lithuanian while we were in Italy. He persisted that he goes while I stay home with the newborn and toddler. Arthur turned 4 today and Mischa and Thomas were 3 weeks old.

Arthur was a beautiful boy, he had ginger hair and some freckles. He loved Dinosaurs and often wore clothes with dinosaurs. His favorite color was blue.

Mischa all though was just a few weeks old, had dark curly hair. Her skin pale. She was an easy baby. Thomas had blonde hair and loved crying. A bit red in the face from crying so much. We weren't expecting twins but I'm glad it happened. Now we definitely can't have any more kids.

I had the twins in a stroller while Arther helped me push.

"Papa I wanna do it." He said as we open the car door.

"Alright buddy, hold on. I have to get them in the seats."

"Papa Thomas cries too much." Arthur said getting in his own booster seat.

"He's a baby, He's going to." I explained. "When he's older he'll be able to speak."

"Papa where are we going?"

"You're going to meet MY Papa." I explained.

"Dada said we can't go to hospital."

"Dada isn't here right now, is he?"

Arthur giggled and shook his head. We headed off.
