Chapter 19 - I'll save her no matter what it takes

"Flowers for brain, no slacking off! And don't forget to go pyon!" 

"I didn't forget, pyon!" Michiyo had a couple of trash bags; a bag for cans, glass bottles, and drink cartons, and another bag for other objects. Unlike Mikoshiba, she was doing this community service activity seriously. 

"He is so mean to you~." Reo said to Michiyo, "If he picks on you some more, I'll scold him for you. How old are you anyway?" 

"I'm 15." She noticed Mikoshiba staring at her, "...pyon."  

"Ah, so I am like your senpai." Reo liked talking to Michiyo because she's adorable. "What's this pyon thing about?" He asked while looking at the bunny ears headband she's sporting.

"It's a story of regret and a harsh lesson I shouldn't assume things based on what I see!" 

"I don't understand but I can feel your hardship so do your best." Reo said while patting her on the shoulder. "You're a good girl for taking this seriously. Unlike a certain someone~!" Reo said it loudly on purpose so Mikoshiba could hear him. 

"Hah? Stop talking to Flowers for brain and I as if we're close friends. The shitty guard isn't here to watch me so I can do what I want."

"And somehow that meant you can boss Michiyo-chan around?" Reo just remembered something! "Michiyo-chan, here." He gave her money. "See that vending machine over there? Why don't you get yourself a drink? Since it's hot. Get three drinks. Choose anything for me and I'll drink it~."

"Okay. I wonder what I should get~?" 

"Heh~ Senpai's treat!" It's actually money Satsuki dropped earlier but it seemed like Satsuki's unaware he even had money to drop in the very first place; you could not be upset over something if you did not know it existed in the first place! When Reo watched Michiyo walk further and further away, he looked at Mikoshiba. He did this with the intent of moving Michiyo away so he could talk to Mikoshiba privately. "Hey, don't pick on girls like that." 

"Hah? It's got fucking nothing to do with you how I treat her." 

"And stop calling her names. You're bullying her and I don't like it." 

"Do I look like I fucking care what you think? Get off my backside, you fucking brat." Mikoshiba lazily picked up a can and he threw it closer to Reo so he had to pick it up. "What are people like you doing volunteer work for anyway?"

"Because the leader of the community association is an acquaintance of our Aniki. So, under Aniki's order, as Suiseki's representatives, we came here to help out."

Mikoshiba laughed! "Hah! Doing whatever you are ordered, are you a dog? That's pathetic! And here you are having a go at me for bossing Flowers for brain around but aren't you being bossed around by your 'Aniki'? So fucking lame!" 

Reo took offense to Mikoshiba's insult. "Hah?! Aren't you the one who is pathetic? Your friend was getting beaten up and you didn't even bother to rescue him. Even worse, Michiyo-chan had to step in!" Reo pointed at Mikoshiba, "A girl shouldn't have to fight a man's fight! A man is supposed to protect girls!"

"It's called gender equality, you stupid fucking brat. You don't get to have all the equality without taking up the equal consequences. And don't associate me and those three together! We might be prisoners but I didn't get in prison because of violence!" 

"What did you do to be imprisoned then?" Reo asked. 

"Hacking~! I'm under special surveillance protection because I spread a virus into the country during a critical period. There's no way they'd place me in jail, I'm a minor, you know?"
