Chapter 39 - I'll always choose you

Michiyo was nervous but she touched the silvery liquefied mass and she went inside of it. 

"Michi!" Allen was too late. Michiyo already went inside of the silvery mass of metal colored liquid.

Inukai was waiting beside Machiko. They thought they will be the only ones here but the other groups besides Akanyatsura and 1nm8 turned up too. Inukai quickly warned everyone not to touch the silvery liquid on the stage because it will cause Metal Erosion. "Please don't get on the stage! That mass over there is dangerous!" 

"You say that but you just sent a brat into it!" Kanata said to Inukai.

"...I don't have a choice. Only Michiyo-chan can pull them out of there."

"You sent Michi in there?! On her own?!" Anne was about to run towards the stage but Hajun had a feeling something bad was terrible. 

"Anne, don't." 

"But-!" 

"Calm down and look at that." Hajun nodded his head at what's on the stage. Anne looked at the stage and they saw something there that's not supposed to be there. That liquefied mass on the stage that's growing in size as seconds went by looked bad. Also, the fact Hajun could not see where Shion, Ryoga, or Mikoshiba was a bad sign in this very situation. 

"There has to be something we can do!" Allen did not like the idea of Michiyo being the only one who could sort this out. It looked dangerous! 

"You want to help?" Inukai didn't think Allen would want to help. 

"Of course! We're all in Paradox Live, standing on stage to let our voices be heard! We may be rivals but are we not comrades in a way?" 

Inukai looked at Allen and then at the other Paradox Live competitors. "Everyone..."

"I think the best solution right now is to wait and stop others from knowing too much about this." Machiko said while holding onto Inukai's arms. Why did she say that? Because Michiyo being able to do things a normal person could not do will bring her danger by attracting the wrong kinds of people. Machiko wanted to protect Michiyo's best interest. 

"Young Master, I will use whatever it takes to control the mass and stop them from coming here." Chungsung said to Dongha. 

"It will be bad if the peasants hear too much and remove Paradox Live stage to ever come up again. I need this stage to take down Yeon Hajun after all." Dongha approved of his butler's plan.

"Um..." VISTY's leader, Yamato Shogo was worried about the future of Paradox Live and seeing the situation like this...he wondered if they could help in any way possible. "I'm not sure what is going on but do you think if we send out a small lie on social media, it can cover up the truth a little?" If entertainers say a lie was the truth, the lie will become the truth...same when an entertainer call the truth a lie, the blind followers who love them will see the truth as a lie. "Kantaro, you're good at these sort of things." 

"Hm. Kantaro doesn't mind helping." Kantarou already knew what excuse to use. "Power shortage leading to a fire." 

"Aoi, Toma, we should follow up on the tweet too." VISTY will confuse the truth with a lie. 

Shiki looked at Saimon, "Owner, is there anything we can do? Michiyo-san is in there alone..." 

"The best we can do is wait and hope for the best." Saimon explain to him. 

"Micchi is going to take away what's important." Ryu suddenly muttered. "Master, Ryu doesn't want to be here." 

"Ryu, you can't say stuff like that and then say you don't want to be here-" Iori felt Ryu clutch onto the end of his jacket. Ryu was serious and this was rare. "...Saimon I'm going to take Ryu elsewhere. Keep me updated."
