Chapter 30 - I am like this and I am not going to change

"Ple~ase?" Michiyo was trying her luck again in hopes there will be a change in the answer she's been getting. She's sitting around the tea table with Mikoshiba on the floor and she's rubbing her cheek against his arm, trying to cute her way to get her way.

"No." Mikoshiba's eyes remained on the screen as he listened to the music blasting from the right earphone. He's not wearing the one on the left because he also wanted to hear Michiyo keep asking him the same question. Right now, he's listening to TRIGGER and he's enjoying the feel of it from start to finish. It was perfect and it had the feeling of danger. "This is going to shoot us back into the competition." He passed the left and right side of the earphones to Michiyo, "Listen to this, Flowers for brain." He wanted her to listen to his verse because it was perfection in his opinion.

Michiyo said nothing as she listened attentively. "Hee~ Hancho and Shion's part are so cool~." 

He looked at the screen to see it playing the wrong part! He sent a karate chop down on her head!

"Ah!" 

"Why didn't you tell me you didn't hear my part?!

"Eh?! I thought your part will come right after?!" 

"No! It's supposed to come right after Ryoga-chan's!" 

"You didn't tell me!" 

"Listen to it again! From the very beginning!"

You'd think because they've confessed their feelings to one another, things will change between them and he will be kinder to her. Nope. He remained the same. He's still an asshole to her whenever he felt like being one. 

"Ohhh~ the vibe feels so dangerous, Shibaken! It feels like you're all waiting to bite!" She looked so excited, pumping her fists up and down in top speed when she said that. She listened to it from start to finish and she really liked it.

"That much is a given. We're pretty much going back to our roots. We're letting everyone know we're more than just fighting for our freedom, we're dangerous individuals and we will kill you with our sounds." He's happy and he's in a good mood because when they perform it live, Michiyo will be there to watch him. He's secretly happy they got her back before the start of the Consolation Match. "I bet I know which part you like. I like that part too."

"You do? I'm glad we're on the same page for once! Hancho sounds hot in his verse!" 

"Hah?!" He was confident she liked his verse the best! Why did she like the other Inukai's part?! 

"I just think Hancho sounds hot. He sounds like Furukawa Makoto if he's having a very bad day." 

"Who the hell is that- anime voice actor or something again? And keep your voice kink in control when you're with me! Here I thought my part will be appreciated!" 

She could see he's in a bad mood. She suddenly got off the floor and she sat on the sofa behind him. She suddenly massaged his shoulders, "It's not that I don't like your part. It's fast paced, and you sound more dangerous than usual. I thought you were cool too." 

"Hmph!" 

"Don't be angry~." 

"I'm not angry, I'm mad." 

"Pretty ple~ase?" 

"Beg harder." 

"Please re-enact the first kiss with me." 

"Don't change the subject back to what you originally begged for!" 

Michiyo was trying very hard to get him to re-enact the first kiss because she couldn't remember it and she wanted him to do it again so had something to remember. She's doubting she's the one who initiated because if she did, she would have remembered! She's convinced he's the one who initiated it...but why won't he do it again?
