Chapter 29 - Why don't you look it up?!

"Shibaken, it's very nice of you to come and visit them with me." Michiyo was holding a fruits basket. Inside the basket, there's a lot of apples, oranges, and bananas. She requested to visit Hokusai, Satsuki, and Reo because she heard they were in hospital; Inukai couldn't make a phone call in private without being eavesdropped!

"Oh, sure. Even I care about the wellbeing of people I don't particularly like." Mikoshiba sarcastically replied to her. He didn't have to come but he came along because he felt the need to assert his dominance.

"Mikoshiba-kun, don't say that!" Inukai overheard what Mikoshiba just said! "We will be here an hour or two so please behave yourself!"

"Whatever." 

"They're in a private hospital room. Let's go." Inukai said to them.

When they made it to the assigned room, Inukai opened the door and he saw Machiko was already inside. "Machiko-san, what a surprise!" 

Machiko looked very surprised! She didn't think Inukai would be here! And to take Mikoshiba and even Michiyo here too!

"Machi!" Michiyo was happy to see Machiko. However, when she saw Sakira, she didn't look very happy because she was reminded how Reo said Mikoshiba replaced her with Sakira. She stayed behind Mikoshiba.

"The fuck's wrong with you?" Mikoshiba didn't push Michiyo away even though he sounded annoyed. 

"That's the girl Shibaken was flirting with when I came back." 

"HAH?!" Mikoshiba and Machiko made the same exact noise when Michiyo said that! 

"Eh?! Saki-chan and Mikoshiba-kun was flirting?!" Inukai was not helping! 

"Fueh?" Sakira did not understand what was going on. She heard her name while she's in the middle of slicing apples for Hokusai to eat. 

"What the fuck- you didn't tell me this at home- when the fuck did YOU come back?! If you came back, why didn't you say anything?!" Mikoshiba demanded answers from her right here and now! 

"You were flirting with her and I didn't want to disturb..." 

"Use your brain! You really are growing flowers in there, I bet it's a freaking garden in your head right now!" He kept poking against the side of her head! "That thing over there is the gorilla's little sister! Like hell I would stoop so low and flirt with something from the same family tree as that thing!" 

"You dare diss my family tree and think you can get away with it?!" Machiko forgot about manners and etiquette when visiting patients in a hospital because fighting Mikoshiba seemed more important! "And Michi, Saki will never flirt with this little shit even if he's the last human on earth! She has a wonderful boyfriend already!" 

"She does?" 

"Hi, Michi." Hokusai waved at Michiyo. 

"Hokusai..." Michiyo stood there in confusion. Sakira and Hokusai were dating? Then what she saw that day-

"Reo lied." Satsuki said while taking a big bite out of an apple, "We were going to tell the truth at some point but a lot of things happened before that can happen." 

Michiyo looked at Reo and he looked guilty, "I'm sorry... it's because I wanted to keep you with us so I lied. Truth is, Saki-chan and Hokusai are dating." 

"But- but she was there playing video games with Shibaken..." 

"Oh that? I didn't want to leave her alone at home so I told her to come over and kick his ass." The way Machiko said that was full of pride.
