The Beta(Murder Drones)

Prologue

(This is technically the first chapter despite it not being named the first chapter) This story takes the POV of S.

I woke up and undid the bubble of wires around me, I looked around and remembered that I fell asleep behind a rock.

I got up and brushed myself off and watched some snow fall, even catching some snow on my hand and tongue.

I then noticed an abandoned building and walked over to it. It was very tall, but the sign to say what the store was or what its name is was broken off and gone.

I got curious and went to open the door, but it wouldn't budge. It was stuck or blocked by something.

I pushed a little harder on the door, but it still wouldn't move. I then punched the door with full force, making the door break and nearly explode.

I took a step back at the sudden explosion of the door, not expecting it to break like that.

I cautiously stepped inside, making sure not to step on any of the broken parts of the door or anything else on the floor.

I noticed something on the floor above me, I used my wires to climb up onto the second floor, looking to see what it was.

I looked over the railing and was relieved to see that it was just a wooden plank that was leaning against the rail. I inspected it and found some glasses under the plank, I took them and inspected them as well, but found nothing on them so I put them back where I found them.

I looked around the store some more, not exactly looking for anything, just seeing if there was anything worth while or interesting in the building.

After a bit of searching, I found that the building seems to be a mall of some sort. There were a bunch of stores inside, mostly of technology and clothing, but some were food shops.

After some looking, I found a store for camping and hunting stuff. I went inside and found a bunch of shotguns, clothes with camo print and tents.

I looked at the tents to pick which I would sleep and live in for the night.

After looking at all the tents, I went with a small, basic tent, though there were bigger ones made for over 12 people, but I didn't think those were necessary.

After deciding which tent I wanted to sleep in for the night, I decided to find some blankets and pillows, so I went to the furniture store and looked at which pillows and blankets I wanted.

I found a really fluffy and big Perry winkle blanket and three really fluffy pillows, and prepared to take them to my new tent when I noticed string lights in the shape of hearts, and decided to take them too.

Once I got to my new tent, I tossed everything in there, put my string lights up and made my new bed. I laid the blanket flat and put the pillows on it.

After setting everything in place, I checked the time and realized it was already 8PM.

I tucked myself into bed, and went to sleep.
