Chapter 2: New friend?

(Just in case anyone gets confused, S pops up text on her visor like Uzi does in episode 6 as her way of communicating and her wires/tentacles have four little fingers on them so she can grab things.)

I looked at Uzi with a small smile before noticing her pompom on her beanie again.

I take one of my wires and try and grab and touch the pompom with it, but she avoids it, stepping back a bit.

"Woah, uh..." She says with a small uncomfortable and nervous chuckle.

I notice her uncomfortable demeanor and stand straight, putting my hands together and make my wire retract into my backside.

Uzi and N stare at me confused and shocked. I can understand why.

I look around and bring up more text on my visor. "V?" I ask with an image of V back at the mansion.

N looks surprised at how I remember, he seems to slightly remember as well.

Uzi looks at me confused, but shrugs. "She's not here, she's probably off hunting or at the landing pod." She says. "Why do you want to know? How do you know who she is?"

I tilt my head at the words 'landing pod', but decide to answer Uzi's questions first. "V and I were friends... Kind of. We at least knew each other." I respond with text on my visor.

Uzi and N look at each other, Uzi thinks for a moment and then points at me, getting close to my face.

I put my hands up in defense and my eyes hollow out.

"If you're telling the truth, then you're coming with us. BUT. You can't attack anyone." She says and then backs up.

I become a little confused at her demeanor, but choose to ignore it and just nod and agree not to attack anyone.

I skip over to my tent and get inside, I grab my things before chucking them into another tent that's made for 5+ people.

"What are you doing?" N asks.

"Aren't you staying the night?" I ask a little worried.

They both shake their head. "Sorry, S, you seem very nice and all, but no, we can't stay the night." N says, trying not to seem rude.

I become saddened and put my stuff back in my tent.

"Hey, if it makes you feel any better, if you and V really WERE friends or knew each other, then I'm sure she'd be happy to see you again... If she remembers you." He says, coming up to me and patting my back.

I thank him via text on my visor and hug him. Once I stop he looks down at my body.

"OH MY GOODNESS, YOU ARE NAKED." He says, covering his visor with his hands, his tail sticking up straight and his eyes hollowing out.

Uzi and I look down at my body as well and then look at each other and shrug, not seeing anything wrong with it.(Uzi doesn't see anything wrong with it because she's a worker drone.)

I look around, looking for something to help, but don't find anything, neither does Uzi.

N finally just gives up and tries his best to ignore my nudity.

"Alright S, we're going to take you to the landing pod, but no attacking anyone. Please." Uzi says, slightly annoyed and putting emphasis on the please.

I give her two thumbs up and a small smile. She rolls her eyes and N gives a smile back at me.

I start following them out the mall and to the landing pod.

We get inside and V is sitting there blowing bubbles. She notices me and becomes a little confused.

"Who is that?" She says, returning one of her hands to normal and pointing at me.

I pop a few of the bubbles before realizing she was talking to me. I instantly stand up straight and put my arms behind my back. "I'm S." I reply with the text on my visor, and salute to her.

Uzi chuckles at how similar I am to N, meanwhile N is smiling at the fact he found someone like him, though is a little weirded out by how alike we are.

I point at myself. "Do you remember me?"

V thinks for a second while looking at me before shaking her head. "Nope." And blowing bubbles again.

I let out a frustrated sigh and take off my hair clip, letting my bangs fall into place and having them cover one of my eyes.

She perks up a bit upon looking at me with only bangs covering one of my eyes. "You look... Familiar like that, but still can't remember." She says, shaking her head again.

I let out a long 'Ugh' and put my hair clip back and pull up a picture of me when I was a maid in the mansion.

"Ohhh. Now I remember you, you were the weird one that had her boyfriend cheat on her with her best friend." She says, chuckling to herself.

I become a little angry and put my hands on my hips and huff.

"The what-" Uzi says, joining in on chuckling to herself with V.

I cross my arms and roll my eyes.

V looks down and becomes confused again. "Why is she nude?" She asks, pointing at me.

I look down, and shrug. "I was never given clothes." I respond with text.

"Does she speak?" V asks, getting up and tapping on my visor, making me close one of my eyes.

"I don't know." Uzi says as she looks over at me. "She tried once, but kept stuttering."

"Sooo... She's broken?" V says, looking back at Uzi and putting a hand on her hip.

I shake my head furiously and let out a small 'hmph' as I turn away and cross my arms.

"I don't think she's broken, maybe she just has trouble speaking?" N says, trying to stand up for me.

I blush at the attempt to stand up for me and turn back. And take a deep breath.

"I- I- I- I- I- I- I-" I keep stuttering the first word as all three of them look at me, waiting for me get past the first word.

N stands there with two thumbs up. At least someone has faith for me.

This is going to be a long night.
