They found me in one of my hiding spots later in the afternoon.

"Rosy, don't be mad," said Ash, "I didn't mean it."

"Oh, yes you did. I could hear the truth in your voice. And I'm not mad."

"You aren't?"

"No, I'm hurt. I really thought you would be happy for me, but all you can think about is yourself. I know you more than you do sometimes. I also heard the jealousy in your voice."

"I'm sorry, Rosy. I-"

"Don't call me that!" I lashed out at him, "Leave me alone!"

"Ok,"he said and walked away.

I spent the rest of the day crying in my room.

The next morning. I ate alone at a table in the back and arrived early at my math class. What I really needed was a Fight Class to get all my anger out, but I would have to wait until tomorrow to do that.

The next few days I spent in depression. Most people avoided me because in this kind of mood I could lash out at anyone. On Tuesday afternoon, the next week Ash and Gerry approached me.

"Hey, Rose," Gerry greeted me nervously.

"Hi," I said.

"How it going with you-know-what?"

"I don't know. Haven't tried it since the library."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Well let's try it."

"Now?" I asked surprised.

"Yeah, now. Come on."

"Ok."

I followed him and Ash outside to some of the bushes on the side of the sidewalk. I had a short déjà vu flash back to when Rex was trying to pull me into the bushes.

"Well, now I'm here. What do you want me to do?"

Gerry looked at Ash.

"Well,"Ash started, "Try something small. Like...lifting this rock with your mind," he pointed at a rock the size of my head.

"Ok."

I cleared my mind of all thoughts and focused solely on the rock and lifted it with my mind. I held it there and slowly opened my eyes. The rock was floating about two feet off the ground. I dropped it.

"Ok. Now what?"

"Umm...try to make this weed grow."

"Ok."

I focused on the weed and encouraged it to grow. When I opened my eyes it had grown one foot taller.

"That is one big weed," commented Gerry.

"Yeah," said Ash dumbfounded.

"Are we done here? I have better things to do instead of standing here doing magic tricks for your entertainment," I complained.

"No, we are not done I want you to do one more thing and then I'll be convinced."

"What?"

"I want you to turn yourself invisible."

"Invisible? That is one of the hardest things that a Wizard or a Witch can do!"

"I know, but look," he spoke something under his breath and suddenly disappeared from view. Then he reappeared right by my side, "See I can do it and so can you."

"Ok," I said uneasily. Making something hover and a weed grow are way easier than making myself invisible.

I cleared my mind a third time and spoke the spell under my breath.

"Invisible I'll be,
None shall see,
Shield me from sight,
As I take flight,
And invisible I'll be."

When I opened my eyes I could tell that I was invisible because Gerry and Ash were looking around the glade for me. I walked around behind Gerry and muttered the counter curse.

"Hi," I said quietly.

He yelped and jumped about a foot above the ground.

"Don't do that!" he whispered harshly to me, "You scared me!"

"That was the point of going behind you," I drawled as if I was board and tried not to laugh, "Anyway, am I done now?"

"Yes," said Ash.

"Thank you."

I peeked out of the bushes to see if there was anyone there and when the coast was clear I hurried back on the sidewalk and towards the library leaving the boys to discuss what they saw.
