She has to survive through the natural challenges and escape predators. She has to make it to the camp alive and she will never face anything more challenging in her life.
She has to make it to the Rebel Camp.
Chapter One
We traveled at a constant speed while walking. We rarely talked unless it was the boys asking awkward questions about me needing to go to the bathroom. When I asked them why they kept asking they said it was because of 'my girl problems.' I was very offended about that and have given them the silent treatment since.
Sea Bass had not spoken since the bridge and I wanted to hear someone else's voice other than the boys bickering.
"Sea Bass-"
"You can call me Seb," he interrupted me.
"Ok, Seb. How dangerous is this place really?"
"How dangerous? Let's see out of the six times I have traveled from the camp to the edge of the forest I have almost lost my life everytime. So if that answers your question we can move on."
"Seb?"
"Yes?" he said with a sigh.
"Are, are all the-"
"Are all the stories true about this place?"
I nodded.
"I've seen enough that I would say yes. Every single one."
I gulped and turned to Ash, "Ash? Could I have the bag?"
"Bag?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes, "Yes bag, you idiot. The one that had all our supplies."
"What bag?"
I sighed in frustration, "The messenger bag that I handed you. It had all our weapons and clothes in it."
His eyes widened, "Oh. That bag."
"Yes that bag. Now hand it over."
He chuckle nervously, "Well about that. I think I might have left it in that shop where we changed."
"What!" I yelled, scaring some birds and making everyone jump.
"Shhh!" Seb said, "We need to keep quiet unless you want to die!"
"You left the damn bag at that shop! You even know what was in there! We need it! Bella was in there! I can't believe it! You left her!"
His eyes widened.
