AMELIAS POV:

I haven't seen Harper in hours, I found her window open clothes scattered on the floor. She was gone, she had snook out through the window, because I grounded her. I felt guilty, I felt like it was my fault.

I have been calling Harper's phone ever since I noticed she was gone, but no answer. It was time to call the police, I sat down with my sisters as they dialled 911 and explained everything.

I sat there shocked and a wave of anxiety rushing over me. What if she's high in a ditch? What if she's dead? What if she's hurt?

The police showed up at our door, questioning us about what happened.
"Hi I'm Detective Lopez and this is Officer Chen and Sergeant Bradford, we will be on your case today, we're going to do everything to find your daughter." The detective said walking into the house.

Detectives? Is Harper in trouble, is she badly hurt? My anxiety was flowing through my body, I felt like a bad mother as if I failed her.

"Could you please give a description of her and anything we would need to know" The sergeant said.

"Yeah erm she has dark brown hair medium length, a lot like mine. She has autism and ADHD, selective mutism. She might be scared or anxious, she normally wears a dark navy blue cropped jacket, almost black. It's a Lana Del Rey jacket, she really loves it. Erm.. sorry I'm just a bit in shock" I said sitting down and beginning to twiddle my thumbs.

"That's okay, do you know why she would have snook out the window" Officer Chen said.
"Yeah I grounded her, she was skipping school to go on a shopping spree while I was in the middle of doing a brain surgery" I said highly panicked
"Thank you we have all units to find your daughter, is they anything else we should know?" The detective said.
"Err yeah she has a history with addiction and self harm, I'm rather worried that she might be high or cutting herself in a ditch somewhere" I said biting my nails
"Has she ran away from home before?" Officer Chen said.
"Yeah once but she- she came back a bit after" I said still anxious
"We should give it a few hours, we will still send out a shop to search but not full units not until we give it at least an hour" Sergeant Bradford said.
"No this is- it's different there's clothes on her floor her...- her closet it's.. it's open she- she doesn't leave her closet open ever- she doesn't leave clothes around- she-she.." I said slowly staring to panic more and more
"Ma'am please calm down we've got it from here, we will search her room for anything to her where about and we will search for her" Officer Chen said.
————
The team sweeped her room trying to find anything that could find Harper. My sisters were calming me down, reassuring I was okay.

"Sir we have a noise complaint in a neighbourhood not too far from here" I heard another Officer say.
"Okay go, we will search for the teenager" the Sergeant said.
"We will be looking for your daughter now" The Sergeant said leaving the house.

My sisters cuddling me in their arms, it was 12am and I was shaken to pieces.

HARPERS POV:

The party was getting more and more guests every second, I could feel the overwhelming feeling hit me. I began to zone out and breathe heavily, I felt a hand touch my shoulder.

I turned to see Declan with a worried face, "Hey Harper, you okay?" He said, I shook my head. "Okay let's go to the bedroom, and if you want we can you know" He said leading me to the bedroom. It made me feel better that I had something to calm myself down with.

"Harper I think you might have had too much to drink" He said seeing as I stumbled my way to the bed. Shit! I was constantly downing beers to try and take the feeling of sensory overload away.

"I'm fine" I said, I didn't feel sick or anything.
"You're drunk Harper, I don't want to have sex without your sober consent" He said sitting down on the bed and holding my hands gently.
"Just drink some water, have a break from all the chaos" He said handing me a glass of water.
————
POLICE OPEN UP! I heard a knock at the front door and a loud shout. I stumbled out of bed to see all the commotion.
