The falcon screeched as she soared down to the Autobots. Optimus grabbed a huge piece of junk and threw it at an old yacht.

"This is my fault", Optimus said. "It should've been me"

Eclipse embraced herself, trying to look small and hide in the shadows. Bumblebee was like a brother to her, a young one. Losing him made her heart ache.

"I'm sorry for your loss", the falcon said softly.

"No offense, lady, but who are you again?", Mirage asked.

"My name is Airazor", the falcon said. "I am a Maximal. A warrior from both your past and future"

"Oh, right. That-That tracks. Yea", Mirage said, swirling his finger next to his head, as in saying 'she is crazy'. Airazor ignored him.

"We fled our home planet on the eve of destruction", Airazor said. "We sought refuge and his here on Earth"

"Right. So you're a Maximal. Y'all are Autobots. What was those things that attacked us earlier?", Elena asked.

"Terrecons", Airazor said. "Servants of a dark, hungry God who feeds on entire worlds to sustain himself"

"Unicron", Optimus growled.

"So you're saying this thing Unicron eats planets to survive?", Mirage asked.

"Yes. And he imbues his servants, like Scourge, with dark energy, which makes him all but invincible. He is entirely beholden to Unicron. Through his power, he possesses Scourge's soul"

"Awaken, my dark master", Scourge said and bowed. Unicron growled.

"Rise", Unicron ordered. And Scourge did as he said. "My hunger is killing me. What have you found?"

"Salvation", Scourge said and stretched out his hand, letting the Key float to Unicron. "The galaxy will once again be yours to feast on, my master"

"I should have gotten the key myself", Optimus said. "I should've known better than to rely on humans"

"Yo, hold up. What, you blaming me?", Noah asked. "After you conveniently left out the part about a planet-eating monster?"

"Noah", Eclipse whispered, holding his arm.

"Because of you", Optimus said to Noah. "Unicron will now use the key to consume every planet in the universe! Including my home world"

"He doesn't have the key", Airazor interrupted. "At least not all of it"

"You fool!"

Scourge groaned in pain and trembled. He fell on one knee.

"This is only half of the key!"

"Please!", Scourge begged as he was lifted up from his feet, straining. "The Maximals....The must have split it"

"EXCUSES! Complete the key, or else you will wish you had died with the rest of your planet"

And Unicron released him, making Scourge fall

"We broke the key into two pieces for safekeeping", explained Airazor. "Then splintered and went into hiding. I do not know where the other half is" She sighed. "For all I know, I am the last of our kind"

"It's in Peru", Elena said.

"How you know that?", Noah asked.

"It's the symbols on the stone", Elena said and took off her backpack. "They were only ever recorded in one other place in the world. The Inca Temple in the Sun of Cusco", she said as she flipped through the pages of her notes. "It's one of the oldest buildings in the western hemispheres . I'm-I'm..." She paused to show Airazor her notes. "I'm guessing that that can't be a coincidence"
