Ten

"I hear water", Noah said. He was right. Water burbled somewhere. They exited the cave, finding a river with a small waterfall.

"Where are we?", Elena asked. Eclipse shrugged.

"Don't have GPS here", she said. They crossed the river. There was a faint roar and a grunt.

"What was that?", Elena asked, looking around. They kept on walking until they made it to the other dry side of the river. They stopped on their tracks as a robot gorilla jumped out of the trees into the river and pounded its chest with a roar. 

"Who are you?!", the gorilla asked. Noah pointed the weapon at him. "And why are you hunting for the key?!"

"Jesus Christ", Eclipse whispered in awe.

"Yo, Donkey Kong! Stay away from my friends!", Mirage yelled, standing on the cliff while pointing his cannon at the gorilla. 

"Uh, Mirage?!", Noah yelled, panicked. 

"Don't worry! Your boy's got this", Mirage said. A robot cheetah jumped out of the bushes and jumped on Mirage, pinning him down. "Ah~! Stranger danger! Stranger danger!"

"Hey, hey, hey", Wheeljack said from behind Noah, Elena, and Eclipse. 

"Not so fa- ah!" Wheeljack was lunged to the air by a robot rhino. It roared at Noah, Eclipse, and Elena. "Ay, ay, ay"

"Hey", Arcee said as she pointed her gun at the cheetah. "Over here, kitty, kitty"

"Stand down!", Optimus yelled as he jumped over the rhino and landed in front of him, pointing his cannon at the gorilla. Primal roared and slammed his fists on the water. He stood on his back legs. "I won't ask a second time"

"No! All of you! Stop!", Airazor ordered as she landed near Elena, Noah, and Eclipse. Primal relaxed and stepped forward.

"Airazor", he said softly.

"Primal", Airazor answered in disbelief. "I thought you were lost. All of you"

"The others...", Primal paused. "Are they...?"

"I am all that is left", Airazor said sadly. Primal glared down and exhaled deeply. "Prime, these are my fellow Maximals. Rhinox"

Rhinox snorted.

"Cheetor", Airazor continued. Cheetor got off of Mirage.

"Sorry about scaring you, brother", he said. 

"Scared?", Mirage asked and scoffed, jumping to his feet. Liquid dripped from him. "Please. I'm not scared. That's just engine oil..."

"And our leader, Optimus Primal", Airazor finished. Primal straightened. Optimus' mask retracted and lowered his cannon, his hand coming back. 

"Optimus Primal?", he asked. 

"Named after you, the legendary warrior of Cybertron", Primal said and bowed his head, showing respect. "It's an honor" Primal turned to Airazor. "Airazor, I'm happy to see you, old friend. But bringing others here wasn't part of our plan. I fear you brings dark tidings"

"Scourge has come to Earth", Airazor said. 

"He's found us", Primal said. 

"And he has half of the key. We must find the second piece before he does"

"But it wasn't in the cave", Elena spoke up. 

"It was", Primal said. "But we moved it long ago to keep it safe"

"Where is it now?", Airazor asked. Primal walked over, his eyes locked on the humans and Eclipse.

"Come with me", he said. And they did. Elena and Noah followed them by the grass while Eclipse turned into her bot form and stayed close to Optimus. Elena noticed the red forming on Airazor's wing.
