Thirteen

"Mirage?", Noah whispered, panting. Mirage's lifeless body hovered over him and Eclipse. Noah hit Mirage's chest a few times, desperate. "Mirage"

Scourge extended his arm, a Sweep crawling down. "Kill the other human"

The Sweep jumped with a screech into the hole in the bridge, looking from side to side.

Elena stopped at the edge of the bridge with a gasp, looking down at the lava. She huffed and puffed as she looked up. She gripped what she could and pulled herself up. The key was just above her head.

But Unicron got closer and closer to the portal. 

Optimus looked up at the portal and saw Unicron. "Unicron", he growled. 

"You fought bravely. But this world is already mine"

Capsules were sent from Unicron, a lot of them, flying at full speed into the portal. They swirled in the form of a funnel. Elena had stopped climbing to look up.

"We're too late", she said to herself. Other people could see the dark clouds slowly covering the sky. 

Noah strained but Eclipse didn't move. They could see the capsules coming in from the portal. 

"It's over", Eclipse hiccuped. She looked at Noah, tears still falling. "I failed you, Noah..."

Noah shook his head, but he was also crying, tears running. 

BEEP

"Hey, Knuckles. You there? Over? Yo, Sonic"

"Kris!", Noah and Eclipse called, their voice slightly shaky. 

"Noah? Eclipse? What's going on?" Kris paused. "Where's Mirage?"

"H-h-he...he....he's gone", Noah said, struggling. 

"Gone?"

Arcee looked up, clutching her side. "No...", she whispered. Wheeljack looked up as well. 

"I'm sorry, Kris", Noah said. 

The capsules made it through the portal. Optimus looked up again. There were many. Too many. 

"We're not gonna win this one", Eclipse said. 

"We don't lose, right?"

"We wish that was true, but we can't", Noah said. 

The capsules landed and transformed into scorpions, attacking the Maximals and Autobots. 

"Yes, you can"

Noah shook his head. "Nah...Nah, man", he denied. "I'm not you"

"I hate being sick. Whenever I wanna give up, you're always there telling me to keep going. But now it's my turn. Keep going, Noah and Eclipse! You think you're a nobody, but you're the strongest people I know!"

Whirl~

"You guys are so cute", Mirage said in a weak voice and groaned. Eclipse gasped and chocked on tears.

"Mirage!", she burst out.

"Mirage? You're alive?", Noah asked.

"Yeah, but -eh!- I'm gonna need you to take the wheel", Mirage said. Noah turned to his side before going on his stomach. Mirage's parts started to surround Noah, like an armor suit. 

"You can do this. You're my brother. Noah Diaz. From Wilson Avenue. Apartment 2C Brooklyn, New York. My brother's friend, Eclipse Addison. A half Cybertronian woman who loves us and her Cybertronian family a lot"
