Firey's P.O.V:

I gathered Leafy, of course, Teardrop, and my good pal Gelatin to help pick a wedding ring, and~ may or may not give a few tips on having a relationship. Speaking of which... "When are you going to confess?!" "I don't know, man! I'm terrified! TD is a special woman, a-and I don't want to screw this up." "You won't. Believe me. With someone like you, it's next level impossible for TD to reject you. If anything, she'd be missing out!" "Thanks, Firey." "Eh, it's no big deal."

I chatted with Gelatin while Leafy was leading the way to a local Jewelry Parlor with Teardrop next to her. "We're here boys!" Leafy hollered as she went inside. I tagged along while giving a Gelatin a nudge on the shoulder. "This might be you soon~" I whispered. "Dude!" Gelatin pushed me off and crossed his arms. I was laughing hysterically with his reaction and his flustered face!

I stopped laughing and helped Leafy out. "This looks good, right?" She showed me a wedding ring set, and it consisted of 14K White Gold his & her rings. It looks nice, but to me, it doesn't feel special enough. She deserves the best, and not the common things! She's special, very special. "It looks...nice!" I said, but Leafy didn't buy it one bit. She can tell that I made a quote-unquote 'disappointed' look. "Firey, if you don't like it, that's okay. This isn't the only option I made," Leafy reassured me, and honestly? That made me feel a lot better. We've checked out 12 couple sets, but neither of them felt...special. O-Or, I don't know how to put it. Just something that really captures us. Like really shows that 'we love each other no matter what' kind of ring.

"Hey guys! What do you think about this one?" Gelatin showed us a Wedding Ring Sets His And Hers Promise Rings. A 925 Sterling Silver and a Steel Brushed finishing. On top of the bride's ring has a very shiny Agate gemstone. "OMLB! I love it! It looks so beautiful! What do you think, Firey?" It actually looks really nice! They're even called 'Promise Rings' as well, so what's not to like? "Yes, yes, yes! That's the one!" I even tackled Leafy into a hug when I said that. My eyes were sparkling with happiness as Leafy and I exchanged cheerful looks. "Thanks Gelatin!" "Don't thank me, Leafy. If anything, thank Teardrop! She's the one who found it after looking at a set of rings similar rings that were blue."

Teardrop pointed at me and Leafy, made a heart symbol, and pointed at herself, showing her appreciation"💚 X 🧡 = 😊 💙!" "Thank you, Teardrop. Couldn't have done it without you."

I purchased our rings and went back to let Spongy keep it safe. "Here they are!"

"Wow! They look so beautiful and shiny. Leafy is so lucky to have you as her loyal partner!" "Okay, you're the ring bearer, so the faith of these rings are on you until the wedding day. Whatever you do, DON'T lose them. These rings are extremely precious to me and Leafy. I'm trusting you with these."

"You can count on me, Firey! The rings are safe and sound in my house," Spongy promised. That's when I took my leave.

Spongy's P.O.V:

Okay-Doki. Firey is trusting me with the key of eternal love, so I must not let him down. Where should I put them? My cabinet? No, what if someone breaks in? Hmm. I walked around my house to find a good hiding place. Behind my picture frame? Nuh-uh. Hmm.

Aha! I have a few empty moving boxes, so I'll place the ring there. Whew! Safe and sound. After a few hours I heard a knock on my door.

"So, Mr. Soaks, I have an appointment with you for a storage pickup service?"

"Yep! That's me! My boxes are over there!"

As the guy picked up my boxes, I was thinking about the wedding and how epic it would be.

"You seem very cheerful today, what's the occasion?" "Oh nothing too serious. My best friend is getting married and I'm the ring bearer!" "No way! Congrats to them and you!" "Mhm! He really trusts me with the rings, and I would be devastated if I had lost them. It's like, taking away something that you had for years." "I feel you, mate. Thank God my ring bearer didn't forget at my wedding." "Wait, you're married?" "6 years happily!" We had a lot of small talk and he was a great listener. "Thanks for helping!" "Not a problem Mr. Soaks-I mean, Spongy." "Don't worry about it, bro. It's America, no need to be formal."

I gave him my goodbyes and took the bus back home. Glad I had someone to talk to, and the rings are secure! Best day ever!
