Leafy's P.O.V:

One day. One. More. Day. Firey and I were all over the place with planning, organization, invites, finalizing, and many more responsibilities that we can't comprehend at the moment. We were both super excited and at the same time very emotionally tired. To the point that we've been declining breaks, mainly because we were so close, and we're almost there for the big day! Before leaving our apartment door, Firey and I gave each other a quick 'I love you/Have a good day' kiss and we went our separate ways. I quickly headed to Flower's Boutique to finalize my dress and if it's fully ready for me to wear at the ceremony.

"OH MY GOSH, TOMORROW'S THE BIG DAY!!! How're you feeling?!" Flower asked enthusiastically. "Honestly, I feel emotionally exhausted. Working on a wedding sure is tiring." I sighed as I flopped myself on her desk. She got up and offered me some cold, bottled water from her mini fridge, which I graciously accepted. She went into a walk-in closet and came out with my wedding dress and a book filled with hairstyles and makeup ideas. "Now that we got your dress, time to pick an ideal bridal look!" She exclaimed as she sunked herself inside the book.

After a while, she sat down next to me and showed me some looks. "We'll be looking through some bridal makeup, hairs, looks, and you can decide which ones you like the most." She said as she was flipping to the table of continents. There were six popular bridal styles; Romantic, Classic, Boho, Modern, Glamorous, and Non-Traditional. Majority of them were dresses, but I already had my dress so we skipped a lot of pages. "Fairy style sounds...interesting." I said pointing out the picture that represented the Fairy Makeup Style. Flower shook her head and continued flipping through the book.

Flower pointed something out and read, "How about...Airbrush Bridal Makeup! According to this paragraph, 'They mostly use this type for Indian weddings and can cover imperfections like scars, scratches, freckles, and such.' And look at the picture! Doesn't she look fabulous?" Something about what that author wrote sounds...wrong. Makeup is supposed to highlight your beauty, not hide it. I gave her a thumbs down followed by a sympathetic smile. "Nah, and besides, it looks heavy. How do they handle it?" She nodded in agreement. "You do have a point." After a while, we both settled on The Matte Makeup look. It looks both beautiful and healthy for my skin. And best of all, I can choose any vibrant color I wish and I wouldn't look like a ugly witch!

We moved on to the next section for hair and I was stuck with three options. All of my options I chose were buns; Pearl Braided Bun, Chignon, or the classic Braided Low Bun. After re-reading some of their descriptions, I decided that the Chignon was my best option. "Look here, the Chignon hairstyle is very simple and comfortable to do. All I had to do was make a normal bun, but make it wavy and loose. What do you think?" I signified to Flower. She thought for a while and smiled. "I love it! But, this is your wedding. Pick and do whatever you want, it's your (And Firey's) special day!"

I smiled back, and my worries from the previous week 'till today started to fade away. It is true. It's our special day. And we love each other no matter what. "Yeah, you're right." I said happily and closed the book infront of us. "Wanna go get some lunch?" I asked Flower as she and I were getting up from the couch. "You bet!"

Firey's P.O.V:

I took the early 10 o'clock train to my wedding venue. It wasn't that long of a train ride compared to yesterday. I arrived first then Woody, Balloony, and Gelatin. I haven't given them a proper responsibility like Blocky with being best man or Spongy who's my ring barrier, so we all agreed to help decorate the venue. Balloony hung the lanterns from one tree to another and tied the strings together, while I elevated it up. Woody was setting up the tables and placing the utensils. And Gelatin was in charge of the food; no he was not cooking it obviously. The last time I had Gelatin's food outside of his steakhouse was not a good day for my kitchen...or my entire house for the matter.

"The big day will start tomorrow night, right?" Balloony asked as he was tying up a string. "Yeah? The lanterns would've been useless otherwise." I replied back with slight confusion. He sighed in relief. "Oh good. These aren't ordinary lanterns. They actually glow and float! With the help of yoyleberries. With their metal power, we can make the base of the fire, and it'll fly away into the night." He explained as he reached his hand into the sky to illustrate his point. "Wow..." I said in awe. I was imagining how romantic it would be. Then it crossed my mind. "...Hey! That could be an activity for my wedding! After the dance, everyone can grab a lantern from here and let it float!" Balloony thought for a moment, and nodded with approval; followed by a counterclaim, "We'll need yoyleberries...umm...Hey Woody!" Woody peered out from the dining area and came to the center of the venue. "Could you get some fresh yoyleberries from Yoyleland? We need them for the lanterns." Woody took his request and left to go to the train station.

I went back down to the ground and checked up on Gelatin. I passed down the actual dining area and smiled. Looks like Woody did a great job! I entered the kitchen and did a mini inspection. All of my wine was delivered yesterday, the ingredients were fresh in stock, and Pin should arrive with the cake any minute now. I spot Gelatin taking out a Häagen-Dazs ice cream bar from the freezer. "What? It's not for the wedding." He chewed as he noticed me. I chuckled, "Yeah, yeah, I know. You got the back door ready to go for Pin?" He walked to the other side of the kitchen and opened the 'wall'. "Hidden door! No one will notice it." He presented as he was holding it.

As soon as Gelatin was about to close the door, I saw a red, Adidas sneaker holding it down as I heard a vaguely familiar voice, "Hey!" Gelatin opened the door and it was Pin on the other side. "Umm, I have the cake. Very rude of you to shut the door on your delivery girl." She said with slight anger as she was holding a very huge box in her hands. "Sorry about that!" Gelatin quickly apologized. She shrugged it off and made her way to place it inside the fridge.

"Little help here, please?" Pin strained as she was trying to reach the fridge handles. In a flash, there was an orange blur coming from the back door that Gelatin left open. He stopped and held open the handle. "I GOT IT!" Oh, it was the orange midget, Coiny. "Here you go, Pin. Let me help you place it inside." He said as he and Pin were carrying the box inside the fridge. I made a mental note that the cake delivery was complete. After walking around the venue one more time, I can confirm that everything is ready to go. Decorations are up, food and ingredients are fresh in the fridge, wine was locked and loaded, and finally the cake was safe and sound in the fridge.

Now time for the final step, call it a day and remind Spongy not to lose my wedding rings...again.

I couldn't sleep that night. Tomorrow is the day, I mean THE. DAY. I stood up on my bed patiently waiting for my future wife to come out of the shower. She advised me to sleep in early, but how can I?! The biggest day of our lives will start in less than 24 hours! In the morning, I'm practically not allowed to see her until tomorrow night. This may be my only time to see and be with her before the actual day. She came out wearing a long sleeve green PJs with cacti prints all over her pants. She was also drying her hair and noticed me staring at her lovingly. "Aren't you supposed to be sleeping?" She asked me. I came back to reality and shook my head rapidly to confirm myself. "How can I?!" I scoffed, and continued on excitedly, "Tomorrow's the big day! You're going to officially be my wife and I'll be your husband, so how can I sleep with that on my mind?! It's exciting! And a bit overwhelming." I finished off honestly. She softly chuckled and placed her towel away and sat at the edge of our bed.

"Is it weird that I'm feeling that way too...but I'm a little bit more...scared?" She asked me as her voice got softer and softer. I grew a worried expression, but tried to hide it for her sake. I scooched forward and sat next to her on her right. I deeply sighed and placed my hand around her shoulder, "No. Not really. It's perfectly normal to feel nervous. I-I just hope it isn't what I think it is..." Her eyes widened in shock and she quickly exclaimed, "Wait...NO, NO, NO, NO! I'm not scared about you or me rejecting each other if that's what you're worried about! Just...worried that something might fall apart and...you would be so mad a-and..." She took a deep, shaky breath, trying to calm herself down.

That's when it hit me. I have been a bit...possessive about the wedding and planning. On top of it all, our 'day off' was a one-sided break. All because I couldn't just get an actual break. I saw her tears hiding inside her eyes, but she didn't let them down. I buried my face on her shoulder and whispered, "I'm sorry."

She patted my head and shushed me to sleep as I was silently letting myself cry and fall asleep.
