Chapter 6

Fukuchi walked down the hallway, Mei right next to him. He had a calm like serious look on his face, it was so different from the look he usually wore on his face and he had some weird box on his back. It confused Mei. He held her hand tightly, protectively, as if if she let go something bad might just happen.

He then opened a door and walked inside with Mei. She looked up and glanced around the room. There was a seat with a lot of computers on it and a man sitting at the desk. He had shoulder length black hair, and was wearing a weird white hat. When he turned around she saw his eyes were an eery purple color. Mei tucked herself closer to Fukuchi, this man gave her the creeps. Fukuchi moved his hand from hers and placed it in her head softly.

"Where's the others?" Fukuchi spoke.

"On their way." The man had a weird accent, foreign to Mei's ears. Just then a man appeared out of nowhere startling her. He was dressed in all white and even had white hair. He had a wide grin on his face.

"Hello!" He said in a cheery voice. And then they heard footsteps coming down the hallway. Mei turned her head to the door and saw a man approaching. He had white and lavender-ish colored hair. It was also a little choppy.

"Sorry I'm late." He said approaching.

"No, you're just on time actually." Fukuchi answered.

"Who's this?" Mei looked back at the first new face. He was staring at her.

"Oh." Fukuchi looked down at the girl clinging to his pants in fear and anxiety. "This is Mei, she's the sister of one of the hunting dogs."

"Why's she here?"

"It's my turn to babysit." The three men deadpanned at him but didn't say anything.

"Why are we here?" The third one asked. Fukuchi shrugged.

"It's been a while, anything new?" He asked. 'D-did he seriously summon all of us just to catch up?' Sigma thought to himself. This group just got weirder by the second.

Soon enough Sigma was in the corner contemplating his life decisions, Fukuchi was trying to wake up Bram and the other two were talking. Oh but you may be wondering what happened to the little toddler? Well that a long story. After Fukuchi introduced her to everyone she pointed at the clown and said he looked fun. The clown gained stars in his eyes and immediately grabbed her and started playing with her.

"QUIZ TIME!!" He yelled as he held her up in the air only getting a 'be careful with her' from the old man. "What's my name?"

"Uh Nikolai?" Mei answered thoughtfully, remembering what Fukuchi had said his name was.

"Correct! And why are you here?" He then asked.

"Gramps is babysitting me." He then laughed loudly. "S-she calls you gramps!" He laughed. Fukuchi glared at him.

"I AM YOUNG!" He yelled back but he was ignored. And question after question the man kept asking her things, eventually putting her down. She then called him crazy and ran off. Straight to Fyodor. But he just shooed her off again. Rude. Having gained a bit of confidence with his group she 'humph'ed and stomped on his foot. He completely ignored her.

"What that?" She asked looking down at a sleeping half person in a coffin. She walked over to Fukuchi after she walked away from Fyodor.

"Oh this is Bram. Boring right? He's always sleeping." Fukuchi complained to the girl. She just stared at him with a blank look.

"...ok." And she walked away. She walked over to Sigma and tugged upon his pant leg causing him to stop and look down at her.

"Up." She reached up to him.
